Walked in and the cashier was just hanging out with friends at the front of the restaurant. We stood there for 5 minutes with no... acknowledgement. The cook from the back came out with prepared dishes. Confused. Looking for the cashier. She never came to getthat food or help us. Never said a thing as we walked out. Trying to pose for photos with friends. Read more

It delicious. I work nearby so I have been ordering from here frequently. It\'s delicious - I\'m obsessed with their chicken and... soup. Their conger is pleasant as well, especially as we get into the colder weather. Read more

I really love their Curry Beef Brisket Rice. My girl says it\'s pretty authentic and I love it! I should try other dish but not... getting this when in there kills me. Read more

Loved the Curry beef and Honey walnut shrimp. The Thai tea was also very good! There are shelves of Manga to read, it\'s such a... cozy and relaxing environment. Read more

A certified Seattle classic, this and their Pike Place Market location are both iconic with great food and service. Although... their both a little dingy of stores look wise, it fits in with the neighborhood and the vibe. This location has fun games toplay and their famous bao?s all with no line compared to the pike places markets crazy lines. Many of my friends swear by thisplace, and I love it. Read more

For 15+ years, I drive from Ballard to the U District JUST to pickup my favorite food item on the planet: Meet Sum bakery\'s... Sesame Balls. I always get 3: one to immediately wolf down, the 2nd to savor while window shopping, and the third to save forlater. These sweet, chewy, nutty (vegan) delights are filled with black bean paste, inside a chewy rice flour dough and coatedin toasted sesame seeds then deep fried. OMG. Sidenote: MeeSum is clean, consistent, friendly small business that neverdisappoints. 3 Sesame Balls and a large Earl Grey bubble tea ran $12. The joy of eating them, priceless. Read more

Super nostalgic Taiwanese pork chop bento (?????) that brought me back to memories of Taipei lunches. Loved the little simple... broth it came with with tender beef and root vegetables too. Smothered in chili sauce, that generous portion of crispy friedpork, simple stir-fried cabbage and pork braise covered rice was fully equipped to put me into a very happy food coma for therest of the afternoon. Definitely coming again to try their spicy beef noodle soup and other Taiwanese and Cantonese classics :) Read more

Ordered their curry beef brisket for take out. Delicious pieces of stewed beef and a few tender pieces of tendon. Sauce was... tasty and went well with the steamed white rice. Bite size pieces of potato in the sauce were yummy. Maybe could have used a bitmore of the tasty boiled cabbage and carrots, but otherwise perfect. Really good portion size; it was enough food for lunch anda pre bedtime snack.\n\nUPDATE 8/25: Just ordered their Beef Brisket with Daikon. Also delicious. NOTE that these two dishescome with rice, because it says \'comes with rice\'. Unless it says that (or it\'s a noodle dish or soup dish) it will be anentree and WILL NOT come with rice. Not obvious because there aren\'t a lot of pictures on their menu. But it\'s a Chineserestaurant so that\'s how it goes (as is typical)! Read more
