Great Masala Chai and ambience. They have 70's Kishore da (Indian music maestro) songs playing that sets the cafe ambience... right. Good service and one of the best kachoris (during pop-up lunch on Friday) around. Read more

This place is amazing! I lived in south India for several years (Karnataka and Tamil Nadu), and have been pining for idli.... Excellent sambar with okra, good chai, and very tasty upma too. There have definitely been some adaptations to the Mumbai chaatsand others, but flavors are great! Do not let any other reviewers deter you! I will be back regularly for idli for sure!!!Please add Dosa, at least on the weekends!!! Read more

Complete authentic and fulfilling quantities. We ordered from Door dash and were delighted to find the flavors were quite... reminiscent of what I used to have back in Mumbai. Some reviews complained about unsatisfactory quantity, our order wasdefinitely filling (ordered for 3 people). Misal pav is really Usal pav renamed and tasted delicious so was the lassi and upma. There was a minor goofup with door dash that fewer pav arrived than we ordered but door dash gave me extra credit so no harm nofoul. All in all I will definitely recommend this to folks looking to try some Marathi delicacies from India!!! Read more

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR INDIAN FOOD LOVERS! -Ordered Bhel, and it included carrot (not something a true chaat person would... enjoy) -$10 for samosa chaat with 1 samosa and ZERO taste. Read more

I feel lucky to have a unique Indian street food cafe like Lassi & Spice in Seattle. The food is deliciously crafted - it feels... like an Indian tapas experience. The decor and atmosphere is always relaxing and pleasant. Staff are very helpful, and theycare. The owner is an amazing woman who gives back to the community. Susannah and her staff were so kind to accommodate myfriends and I by opening up Lassi & Spice the night of my birthday. All of us had a delightful time and we all thoroughlyenjoyed the many unique Indian dishes and beverages. I highly recommend Lassi & Spice for anyone looking for a new, regular, outside the box, morning start the day spot? masala chai, rose latte, pistachio Lassi, Vada Pav, gulag jamun? and more! Best chai I've had in Seattle! I got half sweetness, and it was not noticably sweet; very very nice balance, especially if you... usually find Chai from like, Starbucks, way too sweet. Will definitely be coming here more often! Everyone's masked up well, the treats look tasty, and the Chai is amazing. 5 stars! Read more

Well, let me start by saying that, I was excited to see a place serving misal. Per usual, I looked up the photos of fellow... contributors and the menu for this place. I decided to take my chances and went for it. Being a hard-core Maharashtrian andhaving eaten simple home cooked meals all my life, I was devastated to see the sorry state of the food that was offered. Thelegacy of Maharashtrian food runs deep and I was sorry to see such an abysmal display of tradition being served in a foreignland, to the people who know nothing about it. I really don't want people to think that, the food served here is what isidentified as 'Maharshtrian food'. I even tried contacting the owner on LinkedIn (as she wrote on her wall that she is open tofeedback), but I couldn't reach her. If you are reading this, please feel free to respond to me and we can chat. It's insultingto my Maharashtrian legacy and traditions quite literally. I wish I had never been here. Sincerely, Truly disheartenedMaharashtrian Read more
