Had dinner and drinks here with friends. Food wise the loaded nachos were excellent, and the blackened cod sandwich was... fantastic. For drinks I had their festbeer and their old fashioned, both of which were really good! Read more

I live in the neighborhood and I was quite skeptical of this place before it opened up. Since I\'ve visited, I\'ve become a... regular. Its the closest thing to a dive bar in this part of town.\n\nI would disregard some of the lower ratings as they arereally just describing a dive bar. Limited seating not great for parties, yeah thats a dive bar for you. Mostly fried food,yep... But its quite tasty here!\n\nStrong recommend. Read more

All-in-all - King Leroy is style over substance.\n\nHoping this is due to being new and only open a few weeks! Generally a big... fan of Renee restaurants so was very much looking forward to this new spot. Was sadly disappointed with bland wings, artichokedip and poppers. They were all just a miss - seasoning was non-existent and the poppers had a real weird flavor and texture tothem.\n\nAdditionally - the space is SO small. there are only 4 tables that hold few people and the rest is bar style that makeit difficult to eat with more than 2 people at. Cute interior, love the style but the functionality is also non-existent.Clearly geared towards Amazonians being next to the spheres and assuming it\'s a quick lunch or happy hour spot. Although - notsure how you\'d have a decent happy hour experience with barely anywhere to gather. Read more

Sad to report that King Leroy missed the mark. I was so excited to hear that Renee Erickson was opening up this spot to try her... spin on elevated bar food. However, everything was extremely bland or just plain strange. The chicken tasted like the kitchenhad run out of salt, and the jalapeño poppers tasted like they had made strange with a strange, herbed whipped ricotta insteadof a hearty cream cheese (which, as anyone knows, is the only way to eat a popper).\n\nTruly adore every Renee Ericksonrestaurant that I’ve been to, and am very hopeful that they can get back on track with a little customer feedback. Unfortunately, this was SUPER disappointing. My friends and I had high hopes since this is a Renee restaurant, however, the food... was mediocre at best. We were expecting elevated bar food, and it didn\'t meet the mark.\n\nThe fried chicken was bland, theartichoke dip came with a basket full of broken chips, and the jalapeño poppers just tasted... off. Overall the food was blandand lacking flavor/seasoning.\n\nHoping this place can turn it around. Really wanted to like it! Read more

The wedge salad.. the lettuce was wet.. toppings were slim. Not a good choice.\nGood grilled cheese.\nThe big hamburger was kid... size but good\nNo tater tots to go.\nFish sandwich was the same.\nI think this start up place could use some better menucreativity, being in this location. With better sizes, more options, you could even do a price increase.\nThe front of thestore looks like a wood wall. Hard to find door.\nI live across the street. Read more

Our drinks, the dill dip and jalapeno poppers were a delight. The spicy grilled cheese was very tasty, but the table winner was... the fried bologna sandwich. *chef\'s kiss* Read more

So good!! The drinks and the food, both excellent. Great service, fast and friendly (counter-service). Cool and laid-back vibe,... with good outdoor space. Very reasonable prices. Small space though, so plan ahead as I expect it will get busy fast.\n\nTheFood -\n\nCod Sandwich: excellent. The fish is perfectly seasoned and cooked, melt in your mouth. Not too much cabbage, greatsauce, homemade pickles were great.\n\nBurger: great, as always.\n\nChicken wings: incredible! New favorite wings in Seattle. The buffalo and ranch both were delicious, seemed homemade.\n\nDill dip: so good! Went great with the wings and tatertotstoo.\n\nThe Drink -\n\nMilk punch: really good, definitely on the sweeter side.\n\nDaiquiri: perfect! An excellent traditionaldaiquiri, no extra sweetness.\n\nChilcano: so good! The homemade soda was great, and balanced exactly right with the pisco. Nottoo sweet, not too boozy.\n\nGood beer selection.\n\nAll around, a great casual restaurant. More of a bar feel, so probably foradults only. Awesome that it\'s over a free garage, too. Great for a quick stop or sit down for a meal.\n\nAs always, ReneeErickson has put out an excellent eatery. Dare I say, everything she touches is gold. Read more
