Wow. This place is an absolute gem! I'm not in south Seattle very often and I had no idea this place existed, but it's a place... to visit again. A small restaurant with a unique cocktail menu and Louisiana inspired food. What more can you ask for? I had theShrimp Po Boy and for $17 it was delicious and worth it. Grits plate with blackened salmon, greens, and red beans was awesome. Grits were so creamy and flavorful, hard to find in... Seattle. Black bean burger was great. Found this place randomly, after we walked to a Cafe that ended up being closed for a private event. We have another Creole... place we usually go to (hadn't been in awhile), so my husband was especially excited about this place. This little place is employee owned and operated. Only the best recipes make it to the menu. The mushroom ettoufe was very rich,... correct level of spice and the roux was think and authentic. The dirty rice with fried catfish was delicious. We topped off ourmeal with the beignets. Overall the ambiance and food was v very memorable. We'll be back! Read more
