Quality ingredients on really good bread. I ordered in the restaurant for takeout, but I think they might prefer that you order... online ahead of time. Will definitely go back Read more

Nice hoagie for Seattle. Bread was good, but I do wish that they would have scooped some out. Ordered the Italian and held the... mayo. Read more

Solid sandwich experience at Hog Island Hoagie today. When we arrived we weren't 100% sure we were in the right place-- it's... inside Petoskey's Pizza and didn't see much Hog Island-related signage. We arrived during typical lunch hours and there was onlyone employee working, so it took maybe 15 minutes for two sandwiches, but not a big deal for us. The Hog Islander (Italian sub)was delicious and the American Hero was pretty good too. We'll be back! Read more

The overall flavor is good but the lack of deli meat is really disappointing. When you charge $15+ for a sandwich you expect it... to be full but nope. Also the sandwich isn?t long as an east coast hoagie, it was more like half a hoagie. Read more

Every since I moved to Seattle, I've been looking desperately for an East coast style (Baltimore little Italy specifically)... Italian hoagie, and I am happy to report I've found it! Hog island hoagie is the real deal! Beautiful, moist, balanced sauce tomeat ratio, excellent bread quality. Other delis either overdo the sauce or the meat, which totally ruins the sandwichstructure. I wish I lived in Ballard so I could have this regularly! Perfect summer lunch! Read more

Best East Coast style sub I've had in Seattle since I moved here back in 2014! Super tasty, great bread, nice kick to it, and... the right kind of bread. Would have loved to have some Herr's chips, but they were out. Just means I'll have to order from thereagain! Read more

They have the best ?no hog? vegan sub/hoagie I have ever had. Both better than and reminiscent of the sandwiches I had growing... up on the East Coast. The bread is hard at the edges and chewy on the inside as it should be, and the pickles arewonderful! But be wary of the chips, they have dairy ingredients. Read more
