The woman who takes our order at the Lake City location is so sweet and recognizes us no matter how long it's been since we last... were in. Makes us feel like we are at home. Always always always my favorite. It's so good. Started at the Everett location but I moved so now the Seattle one is my nearby... go to. It's my favorite place to get chicken and I've been getting chicken from them for at least 4 years now (the originalstrips are 100% so amazing). The chicken family meal fed me for 5 meals. (With sides) Its pretty tasty as evidenced by the line out the drive thru. The... chicken was already made but the fries were fresh. But neither tasted any less than fresh. And it was during lunch hour so beingready in like 5 mins was really nice. when i arrived i realized the price differs per location. See below forelaboration. Order from the not seattle city limits and save yourself 2-3 bucks per item. I know it doesn't take half a gallonof gas between the two locations so not really sure what's up with that. Took one star off for that cause it seems reallystrange to me and it did make me enjoy it less. It was however my fault for not noticing i was looking at the wrong location onthe website menu. Also the site was listed once upon a time as a really good chicken spot but its not on that list linked in the"about info" any more. Thought the business maybe should see /edit that from their info or see about getting on it again. As someone who has lived in the area for awhile, Heaven Sent has always been one of those spots I go to on occasion when I'm... feeling like treating myself to some comfort food. Can't say I've ever really been let down by this place except for one thingwhich I'll get to. The sides are good, the chicken is usually nice and moist, and the pricing and speed of service issolid. The one issue I have is that the original recipe (the non-spicy option) is pretty meh. Ever since I first came herepeople had told me to order the spicy and not the original and for good reason. The original just doesn't have much flavor to iteven if it's really well cooked otherwise. So unless you have a severe aversion to even a mild spiciness, I'd recommend justordering the spicy, not the original. If the spicy was the original and they had a spicy that really packed some heat, thiswould probably be a five star review. Read more
