This is a very decent burger place. They don't have a ton of toppings options, but the burgers are tasty with just the... basics. I'm not generally a fan of crinkle cut fries, however Great State has made them delicious! It's so hard to make crinklecut crispy, and they've figured out the secret. Had high hopes. Ordered the great state burger on a lettuce wrap (love that they have that option!) But my burger was super... thin and flavorless. Incredibly disappointing. Crinkle cut fries were tasty. Definitely not worth the $17 (including a $2tip)!!! Read more
The burgers here are absolutely delicious and I love the Jones Soda selections it's a little bit pricey though
Not sure what happened but we ordered four burgers and fries (mostly because we love the crinkle cut) via the toast app and we... were served the saddest burgers and the fries weren?t even close to what is advertised on their website and apps and IG. We gotflavorless soggy fries that seemed like a dupe for Dick?s bit were three times as expensive and awful. Tried to call, email tono avail to the location (Laurelhurst). Very disappointing experience especially because what is shown isn?t what we got and itwas over 60 bucks so????? Read more
This is such a delicious local burger place! I absolutely loved the malt shake I got, the crinkle cut fries were perfect, and... our burgers were delicious. All around a fantastic place to eat. There is plenty of outdoor seating and service was fast. It'sdefinitely worth a stop! I took a picture of their menu because it seems to have been updated recently, so check out my photosfor their most recent menu (July 2021). I can't wait to go back to try their breakfast sandwiches! I like the food here. But I ordered a 12oz milkshake. The cup seemed too small. I asked if it was a 12oz cup and the manager... answered "that other cup is our smallest, so that one is technically our medium" Well...that wasn't my question. So out ofcuriosity I poured 12oz in a measuring cup and attempted to fill my milkshake cup. If I put it to the brim, it almost holds10oz. When I put it where the shop filled it to, it was 8oz. This is definitely not a 12oz cup. So. Basically. I feel a littleripped off. Read more
Note that the only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because of lack of seating. The interior is very small with only space for about... 12 people max. Delicious, grass-fed burgers for a reasonable price. The fries are also awesome! Perfectly crispy and flavorful.They also serve Jones soda and have a couple beers on tap. We will definitely be back. Read more
I?ve been a frequent customer over the past few years as Great state makes pretty good burgers, fries and malts, but their... latest price increase makes them no longer worth it. Tonight while putting in my order I ended up canceling when I saw that aburger, fries and malts for 3 was going to cost almost $80 after taxes and before tip. I can feed 3 with a great pizza for under$40 from right across the street. Or I could order something a lot fancier than burgers and fries from somewhere else for thesame price. I?m just not finding the price point remotely reasonable in value any more. Read more
