Went here for the 18 inning marathon that ended the M's season. Still a great time in this massive brewery, with lots of... seating, lots of choices for really good beers, and plenty of TV's for your sports watching. Staff is efficient and friendly.Great time! Read more

Not a Washington brewery, but Portland is s a quintessential Northwest beer experience and Great Notions is a prime example of... what is great about Cascadia brewing. GN has something for every taste but for the beer aficionado who likes to push theirpalate of what beer can look and taste like, Great Notions is at the front of the pack and the beers are amazing. Frominnovative seltzers, and sours, all the way through the beerbow to the hoppiest IPAs, the beer is fresh, delicious and sometimesquizzical. Try a flight of five and sample your way through their current selection. Kids are not allowed and they don't servefood but don't let that deter you because sometimes you just need to be around other adults who enjoy a great beer and there areplenty of nearby food options that you are welcome to bring in and enjoy. Staff is friendly and ready to help you pick the rightbeverage. Multiple areas both inside and out, lend to a social but comfortable distance vibe. Merch is on point and overall agreat place for a beer. Parking is a paid lot outside the brewery but street parking is abundant and within a block or two.Lowercase Brewing is next door but you probably won't make it that far after your second pint(or flight!). Great tasting room. One of my favorite things about smaller taprooms, they often allow food from other businesses to be brought... in due to a lack of a menu. Georgetown has a great Vietnamese place next door, a hole in the wall place with staff that ismildly off-putting but is completely worth. Go get some fried garlic Salmon belly, come over, get some flights, you won't beunhappy. 11/10, hopefully I will hit the family reunion next year and have time to stop by for the layover. Can't wait for theSacramento taproom. Read more
