Stopped by the store today and grabbed couple gift boxes of assortment chocolate- 6 pieces $16.95. The staff are super friendly... and nice, they have good knowledge of each piece of chocolate and they can describe accurately and vividly on the tastes. Theyhand picked all chocolate and wrapped gift boxes one by one. I had good experience in the store and like other reviewers said,it is fairly expensive. Read more

First, I want to say that for YEARS, I would always walk right by this place; too fancy, probably overrated, too expensive for... me. Let me say now, I can be so very wrong sometimes. I saw this place on an episode of How It's Made where they talked aboutcandy. This lady knows what she's doing!! If you are going to indulge and consume the calories, why not get the best? I alsogot a dark chocolate bar which I haven't tried yet but I'm so excited because the site said they were sold out, they are notpeople! I keep a bar of dark chocolate in my purse at all times, break off chunks and savor them as needed. It's medicine, asfar as I'm concerned. I'm currently eating an Almond Goldbite and dayum, its an amazing experience. Usually I don't likecaramel, it's too sweet and it hurts my teeth, but these are perfect is every way. Oh yeah, I got three different high-qualityproducts, best 16 bucks I have ever spent! The employees were incredibly kind and friendly, the guy at that cashier gave me afree caramel on my way out!! I might be a nerd, but I love a pretty bag too! ???? I will be returning here again verysoon! Update 10/4/2022- I have now tried the PureBar 68% Dominican Dark Chocolate and I happened to have my old reliable pursetreasure, Theo 70% Dark Chocolate so I gave them a side-by-side comparison and taste test. I declare, at least for my own tastebuds, Theo as the winner. Fran's is darker and shinier but it has a less desirable aftertaste. They both have a pretty similarmouthfeel. Theo is 2% darker but maybe its the source of their beans?! I just know that for me, Theo has this warm, almostcinnamon finish, that is just lovely. I will be returning to Fran's for caramels though and that's their specialty anyway. ???? Read more

I stopped here while out touring because, well, how many people can walk past a chocolate shop and not have a look?! The staff... was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They informed me that this was a female, locally owned shop, which I just lovedto hear. They weren't too pushy at all and allowed me freedom to walk around and make my selections even though I was the onlyone in there. They included a free sample with my purchases, which I ate on the way out the door. It was so good I nearlyturned around to buy more stuff! After I got home, I had a wonderful reminder of my trip. I highly recommend this place. Thechocolate is really yummy! Read more

The way the chocolate melts in your mouth and the close attention to flavor balance really shows the high quality of... Fran's. Staff is very helpful with anything you need to have questions about. It is on the pricier side but if you want totreat yourself then this is the place! Read more

Knowledgeable staff mixed with delicious organic chocolates! They are well versed in allergens and happy to help find the right... mixture of treats. My one issue was with the espresso being a bit on the blond side, but that is just preference, and mypreference is quite dark. It was not bad, and also not super blonde, kinda medium for me. Gourmet chocolate shop across the Seattle Art Museum. Came here in the afternoon and there was no line. Masks are required.... Credit cards are accepted. No public restrooms available. The store is connected to the Four Seasons lobby, so you can drinkyour hot chocolate in their lobby (you can’t drink it in Fran’s). Came here to buy some presents as well as try thedrinking chocolate. The employee who assisted us was not particularly helpful - she didn’t greet us when we walked into thestore, didn’t offer to answer any questions or provide any recommendations, and told us that the menu was “basic” when wetold her that we wanted to take a look at the drink options. It made for a rather uncomfortable experience. The chocolateitself was good and you do get a free sample. The chocolate caramels seemed to be the most popular offering. The truffles I gotdid keep well over two days when I flew back to LA and gave them to my friends. Frans does offer online orders with shipping. Read more

A charming and spacious place, very open and inviting, just beside the Four Seasons. Staff are friendly and helpful, which I... very much appreciated. It displays a variety of chocolates ranging from dark, milk and white. I have to say the peppermintimperiale was my favorite. :) Read more

A beautiful chocolatiers with decadent treats, a gorgeous interior and professional accommodating staff. The chocolates are bar... none my favorite thus far while visiting Seattle. We tried the Dark chocolate caramel truffle, the Imperiale mint truffle thedark chocolate tres almond truffle and a few of the plain dark chocolate hearts. The chocolate was rich, smooth and not overlysweet. The staff were efficient and great conversationalists providing personal insight into what chocolates they thought werebest and putting a smile on the face of everyone who walked through the door.
