Reviews for FlintCreek Cattle Co in Seattle, WA
Absolutely the best experience we have had dining in Seattle. We arrived for our reservation at 5:15pm, on a Tuesday, and... waited less than a minute for our table overlooking the kitchen. We asked for a bottle of champagne to be on the table when wearrived, since we were celebrating. Service was VERY attentive, informative, and had great recommendations. The food wasunbelievably delicious, well seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Really great place to relax and eat a great meal. I willdefinitely be returning and recommending. Read more
I really wanted to like this place more than I did, especially since I made reservations for my husband's birthday. First time... here and not sure if I'd go back. The customer service was 5 star but the food brought it down. Dog friendly: No Familyfriendly: Yes Parking: Yes - small lot behind the building, street parking, and paid to park lots around therestaurant. FOOD: 1) Small Plate - Venison pate, English pickle relish, pickled shallot, radish herb salad, grilled baguette$15: I was super excited to see pate on the menu but was very disappointed. The pate was cold and firm so it wasnt spreadable. My husband dubbed it meatloaf pate :( Taste wise, it didnt actually taste like anything which was great if you wanted to reallytaste the pickled shallot and herb salad (which were very good). 2) Small Plate - Lamb & Marjoram Sausage, green tomatoes, raclette fonduta, potatoes, truffled cabbage slaw $15: This was definitely not something I would order again. The sausage wasvery dry and wasnt very flavorful, the slaw didnt taste like truffles at all, and the potatoes lack salt. If I had to pick onething I liked about the dish it was the cheese. 3) Mains - New Zealand Elk Rack, grilled lacinato kale, cauliflower tapenade, olive oil, sea salt $48: The rack was served medium rare and it had a good texture - done but not chewy. I was slightlydisappointed as it didnt taste like anything. I will say the kale was probably the best thing on the dish. The tapenade had astrong anchovy taste to it that overwhelmed everything on the plate. 4) Chops - 24oz Prime, 21 day dry-aged Delmonico, MosesLake WA $85: Of everything we ordered, this was hands down the best thing. It came out exactly how we wanted, medium rare. This tasted amazing and glad the steak wasnt overly done. We did order the maitre d'hotel butter on the side and we were veryglad we did. I tried the butter and trust me, it didnt add anything to the steak... if anything, I probably wouldnt have li Read more
This is the first time I've visited since the pandemic. I used to go here for a lot of dinners and happy hours. Pro: Still a... wonderful ambience, great small plates, and a lot of variety when it comes to non-traditional meats. Con: Like everywhere else, prices have increased. While all of our dishes were fantastic, the duck didn't meet its usual standard. The skin was in crispyand it tasted more like your traditional turkey. Read more
If you like your steak, this is the place. Absolutely buzzing on the Friday night we visited. We arrived early for our... reservation, but were able to sit at the bar and enjoy a glass of very decent house Chardonnay. The hanger steak was sublime(cooked a perfect medium-rare). Our second time here, and we'll be back soon. Read more
Stellar dining experience in Seattle. Attentive service, quality ingredients and impeccable presentation! We ordered the Elk... (MUST HAVE!!!) which was cooked to perfection, the Lamb Sausage (wow) and Mushroom Bolognese (phenomenal) along with a fewdesserts (the chocolate cake with Peanut Butter ice cream was the winner). Such great ambiance and food. Will be coming backnext time we’re in Seattle! Read more

One of our favorite meals in Seattle. The service was impeccable. Everything was delicious from start to finish! The standouts... were the grits, venison pate, NY strip, mushroom bolognese, and roasted chicken. While they are known for their selections ofbeef, the roasted chicken was so tender and the pasta dish, which was vegetarian had so much umami flavor. Enjoyed a glass ofMalbec with my meal. There was a great selection of standard and signature cocktails to choose from. We sat upstairs, which wasnice with a quieter vibe. Read more
