Menu for Fairmont Olympic Hotel - Seattle in Seattle, WA

We had a quick, overnight getaway just to visit some galleries and nice restaurants. Tha Fairmont is a great location for both.... Our corner room was clean and pretty and the bed was comfortable. The service was exceptional. The part we liked best (and willkeep us coming back) was drinks at the bar/lounge in the lobby. Actually, it basically IS the lobby. I was here for work and was able to stay here. The hotel is really awesome with great interiors and what I hear is a lot spent... on their bars and one can only see it while you're visiting here. The staff is great, there's always someone to open the doorfor you and very courteous and helpful. If you're staying here you don't even have to go out as everything is inside this hotel.There's a breakfast cafe, there's a gym, a spa, a restaurant and a moving bar. It's a must to visit here at least once. Greatroom service though It's upon request but without requesting they still made the bed and cleaned the room, fresh towels andtoiletries were kept. Hotel is beautiful with a grand foyer/lounge combination. The service was great. Our breakfast waiter observed that we were... going hiking, so he shared some very good suggestions on good places to visit. The lotion and shampoos smells amazing. Nicesingle serve pod coffee maker in room with good coffee options and plenty sweetener and cream options. I would definitelyrecommend and would return myself. My only complaint is the self service parking deck, which is confusing and its elevatorrequires one to walk down 8 steps to get out and over to hotel. This is not easy especially when transporting heavy suitcases. Read more

Superb in every way and walking distance to Pike's Place. From the doormen to the exceptionally appointed room - the coffee, the... lighting, the bedding, the toiletries, the timely in-room dining and the decor it was all exceptional. The Concierge and thestaff were so thoughtful and knowledgeable too - phenomenal. We ate at the George for breakfast and lunch 5 times and found itto be very, very good. We noticed that there were many locals eating there and several were having large birthday celebrationsand showers. All this to say that the negative reviews here regarding the restaurant and hotel really left us questioningwhether they were actually real reviews. We are definitely discerning and based upon our experience it's hard to imagine thatanyone could've had a negative experience at this hotel! We had three wonderful nights and LOVED IT - GO, GO, GO! This hotel combines a sense of elegant vintage and modern comfort. The bedding is plush and the rooms are spacious. The wifi... connection is neither stable nor fast. I had an issue with the housekeeping staff. I asked her to come later, but I guess therewas a gap in communication as she said she would go for lunch later and walked right in and started tearing sheets of the bed!Then, she asked me to move from the table where I was working as she needed to clean! The location of the hotel is great as itis within walking distance of the Pike Place Market. I liked the hotel?s nods to the past. Read more
