Honestly that pizza was 5 stars. It was the hostess that was the problem. If you have a 1 hour wait: say so. Don't keep saying... "only another 15 minutes". Especially when you're watching us stand in the rain. Back to the pizza, I'll have to return toactually evaluate it seriously. Our first time visit, the food is really tasty and well made with with lots of flavor unfortunately customer service can be... improved. There was no host as we entered and took awhile to get seated, there was a confusion about the wait time. For Salad weordered the Ceasar salads with hearts of romaine, great portions and enjoyed the housemate croutons. For Pizza we ordered theMargherita, love the cheeses and crust of the pizza overall delicious. The 12" in pizzas were great to share for 2 people plus akid. And our FAVORITE was the New Casarecce with Basil Pesto Pasta! so delicious and we added chicken that made it extra tasty.The pesto was so good and not overwhelming at all, it combined well with all the ingredients in the pasta. Good portions andshared pasta with 2 people. We arrived in time for happy hour so we enjoyed the tap beers, a few IPAs and Pale Ales. For IPA tryCrux Pilsner! My friend and I visited this restaurant to grab a bite after hearing rave reviews from others. We weren?t very hungry and so we... decided to split a pizza. The server was very sweet at the beginning, but when she heard that we were sharing a single pizza,her demeanour changed. The pizza was served and she disappeared immediately. Absolutely no one showed up to take our subsequentorders (for drinks). We tried to get her attention but to no avail. We were forced to flag down other servers who were busy withtheir own tables. At the end, we failed to get her attention to get our check, so I literally had to leave our table and findthe host so we could pay and leave. The whole time, we saw our server shower other tables with attention so I have no idea whatwas going on. My friend and I both felt that we probably experienced this kind of service because we looked like collegestudents and perhaps she believed, especially after we asked to split a pizza, that we wouldn?t tip. Well, I guess shemanifested this, because we certainly did not do so after experiencing the abysmal service. The pizza was not bad - prettygood. I probably wouldn?t go here again though. Read more
