Duos Catering is the best catering company in the Greater Seattle Area! My (now) husband and I hired Duos Catering for our July... 2022 wedding at AXIS Pioneer Square in Downtown Seattle. From the beginning, Stayce (our main contact) was super kind,thoughtful, and professional, offering us recommendations on the best appetizers, salads, entrees, desserts, late-night snacks,and bar packages within our budget. Stayce went above and beyond for us through many revisions as our plans changed and guestcounts fluctuated. She was also very helpful in guiding us through the planning process as we worked with Duos directly untilour coordinator took over communication a month before. You truly couldn?t find a better person and company to work with foryour event! Leading up to our wedding, Stayce coordinated our rental items from Cort Party Rental, offered us opportunities totaste the food and drinks we selected, and did a venue walkthrough with us to finalize day-of details including floor planlayout, staffing and service, and the order of events. She?s very detail-oriented! On the wedding day itself, our Captain was sofriendly and professional, ensuring every detail was seamless from ceremony and reception setup to quality food, drinks, andservice. Our guests raved about the hot, fresh, and well-executed dinner service including the peach salad, honey-citrus roastedchicken, truffle gnocchi, vegan green curry and table-side wine service. The appetizers and late-night snacks were absolutelydelicious - coconut shrimp, watermelon lollipop, mini soft chicken tacos, Duos corn dogs, Filipino lumpia, and falafel. Thedesserts were so decadent and tasty - mini vanilla cupcakes, brownie bars with fresh berries, and mini cheesecakes. And finally,we upgraded to the premium full bar package which included beer, wine, liquor, and two specialty cocktails - the Asian PearCocktail is out of this world! So delicious! Duos was the absolute best catering company and we are extremely glad to have chosen for our wedding. My husband and I have very... high standards when it comes to food and we wanted it (and the drinks) to be one of our top priorities for our guests on ourwedding day. Everything (appetizers, dinner entrees, drinks, and late night snacks) was perfection. When we went in for thetasting, all our entrees were really great. We did call out some minor concerns to make sure it was perfect for our guests andthe chef (he is a perfectionist!) was able to execute perfectly for our wedding day. We also had some concerns about the tastingbeing a lot better than when the dinner was catered, simply due to the fact that you\'re producing 1 dish rather than > 100.However, the dinner on our actual wedding day turned out even better than the tasting! Every single one of our guests loved thefood and still cannot stop raving about it today. The service provided was also great!\n\nFinally, I have to mention that theteam at Duos seriously goes above and beyond for their clients. We worked with Stayce as our main point of contact and she wasextremely responsive and helped us make many changes (especially since we had to postpone our wedding twice). We probablyweren\'t the easiest clients and she really made sure we were able to get everything that we needed and got us answers veryquickly. She also was such a great energy to be around! We also ran into a last minute setback where the fish for one of ourappetizers was not available at any of their suppliers (this was also an appetizer that they had discontinued, but they stilllet us have as part of our menu since it was part of our original wedding date plan). However, the chef went all around the areato try to find a supplier. In the end, he was able to acquire it and it was the most loved appetizer by our guests. I recently had the pleasure of working with Duo\'s and 2 days later I am still shocked at the awesome-ness (isthat word) of their service AND their food. The Duo\'s team was exceptional. They were kind, calm, professional, detailoriented. They were on top of EVERY detail. They were in their zone and they made it look easy. And then there was the fooditself. There are not enough adjectives to correctly describe this meal. The menu was so fun and creative. Duo\'s Catering was the best choice we made for our wedding! Our guests have tons of food sensitivities (gluten, vegetarian,... nut/dairy allergies) and James was so incredibly patient. He worked with us to find a menu that fit all our needs and would fitour price range. He was super thorough, knows so much about everything related to event planning, and is just the kindestperson ever. We received so many compliments throughout the night on how delicious the food was (especially the beet salad,porchetta, and coconut shrimp).
