My partner and I came here for the first time last Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! They don’t take reservations so... we took our chances and showed up at 8pm for dinner. They didn’t have a table immediately available but we were able to orderdrinks from a standing counter space which was good enough for us! No sooner than we got our drinks, we were seated at a tablejust 12 minutes after arrival. We started with the Calvados Buck and Eyes Like Twins for drinks. Both were tasty, refreshing, and not too sweet - just like we like them! For appetizers we ordered the Sunchokes & Mushrooms (our second favorite dish of theevening!) and the duck fat fries. I enjoyed the fries with the aioli but my partner found the duck fat taste too distinct andthe aioli a bit too mayo-y. For entrees we split the Spicy Pork Salad and the Grilled Lamb Heart. The lamb heart was perfectlycooked and tasty. The pork salad was TO DIE. We both couldn’t get enough of it! Truly, everything about that dish was perfect. We were pleasantly surprised by how good the pork was and loved that it was on the crispy side. My partner also got a seconddrink, Tiny Chance, which was super tequila forward so he needed a bit of help finishing it. It was listed under the boozeysection so that should have been expected but the gin drink didn’t seem as overpowering to us (maybe we just prefergin!). The service was great, our food came out super fast even with how busy they were! I was honestly excited abouteverything on the menu and had a hard time narrowing down to order so we will definitely be back to try more and get anotherSpicy Pork Salad, no doubt! Read more

Damn the Weather was an exceedingly decent and wholesome Cafe. I came here with my friend and colleague from out of state for a... late lunch, having never been here before, and really enjoyed the share-portion of oysters and duck fat fries. The selection ofdrinks both alcoholic and non both varied and delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone with little time that wants avery contemporary local experience. I think I'll be back Read more

Damn the Weather, one of the best hangs in the downtown area, has also prepared one of the best burgers I’ve had in Seattle,... to date. The cocktails are also excellent accompaniment- fresh and classy. With bar service that is both attentive andtalented. (looking at you, Justin!) I’ve not had a bad experience here. The space is small but well laid out and beautifullyframed by 100 year’s-old architecture. It’s a must for the touring local. Read more

Stopped in for dinner on a Wednesday. Cool vibe and the staff were very friendly. We tried their appetizer "cured meat with... accompaniments" which the other option was "cheeses with accompaniments". Strange that they weren't together like shown on theonline menu — regardless the tangy mustard, slices of beer bread, ham, and two kinds of cured meat were tasty. Also tried thesalmon with apricot jam and assorted veggies/beans. The salmon had a great sear and the flavoring of the veggies/beans was spoton. The apricot jam was more of an afterthought. It just sat there on the side and really didn't do anything to enhance thedish. Next time, I would try something else on their menu as they have a nice variety to choose from. Read more

Stopped by for lunch with a colleague and am glad we did. I’ve been here for cocktails a few times but this was the first... daytime visit. I ordered the breakfast sandwich, grateful they were still serving breakfast at near noon and a Pineapple Gum NAbeverage. The sandwich was piled high and the bread was warm and soft. I appreciated the salad that came with it as the flavorsworked together beautifully. The Pineapple beverage was bit bitter for me but overall I enjoyed it enough to finish it :) Theginger beer is good too! We sat outside so had a little narrow bar space but enjoyed the sunny afternoon and watching tourgroups pass us by on their way to Pioneer Square gems. As we were on our way out I saw the interior become more populated withfriend groups and some business meetings. Relaxed vibe, prompt and attentive service, and good food. Damn the Weather is avalue add to the historic Pioneer Square neighborhood. Read more

Tasty cocktails & great service. We had Fava Beans & the Zucchini + eggplant to share. Wasn't the best appetizers, but we will... likely come back to try some of the entree selections. Read more

Delicious and unique cocktails with a casual hipster vibe. If that sounds like your cuppa, then Damn the Weather is the spot for... you. I wasn't too hungry when I stopped in but the menu had a range of easy choices like oysters on the half shell, hamburger, and steak. It also had challenging ones like... lamb heart? Weird but probably tasty for adventurous types. All that to say Ididn't try any of it, but it looked good being served to customers seated next to me at the bar. Read more

The best Brussel Sprouts I have ever had! They were crispy and savory yet a hint of sweet with a balance of acidic and salt…... truly a fantastic experience Read more
