I have been to this place for serveral times. This time the Beijing Duck (forbidden duck) is really great. To be honest,... although these food are not really authentic, but tastes really good. Generous portion at reasonable price. Much better view andenvironment compared to Chinatown. Read more

Historied restaurant in Seattle's. I visited it over a decade ago when I first moved to Seattle. It was not good. Then I read in... an Eater review that they had new management and it's a great place now. Wrong. Dilapidated place, with lamps falling off, dirtywindows, cables hanging left and right, the lighting is off... But the food is not good either. Ordered the recommended GeneralTsao's chicken: it was overdone, and dry. The broccoli felt off. Ordered a couple of dim sums and they were not great. Pricewasn't cheap either. It could be such a good place though -right on Lake Union with awesome views. Read more

I’m changing my review from 5 stars to 1 star because I tried to go to this restaurant after having great dim sum the last 2... times but I was ignored for 20 minutes waiting for a table along with 2 other parties of people. I finally asked if I could beseated to the lady who was behind the cash register and she yelled “No food” at me. I asked her why would you let us standher for 20 minutes and ignore us if that was that case and she wouldn’t respond to me. I can’t believe the inconsiderate andrude treatment I received as a loyal customer. They also turned away a family who had an actual reservation. If this is how theywant to treat their customers I will no longer support this business. Read more

Ok, to be fair, I AM from Vancouver BC and thus wasn’t expecting culinary delight in Seattle - especially when my niece... insisted on taking us out of the International District and to Lake Union. Hmmmm…!! Drove up to this rather impressive butrather plain entrance and I was very pleasantly surprised by how many and how cheap parking is there. Walked up and into therezzie and I was immediately blown away by how fabulous the view was. WOW! This is Seattle at its best - bright sunshine and yettemperate weather. The bright sunshine though shows the age of the decor and horror of horror - dirty windows - which is such ashame for such a magnificent view. Perhaps too much rain up to only recently and thus they’ve not had a chance to clean them? The food.. Oh my God! Gotta say I never expected such good food in Seattle! My niece told me that their chef - chef Danna - is avery well known and is practically a celebrity in the Seattle culinary scene. Impressive food, very well presented anddeeelicious! And as to price, I’m used to Canadian pricing and when converted to Cad$ does seem to be a bit on the priceyside. But my luncheon companions told me that it’s nothing outlandish for Seattle and very much in line with other similarplaces WITHOUT the added bonus of the views. Definitely a place I’d recommend to my Vancouver friends who plan to go down toavoid some of disappointments in Seattle. Read more

There was a new chef here named Danna who got great reviews but has been gone since December 2021. The food is likely prepared... the same but without the same level of execution. Without the great food you have an older facility with a prime location. Ourfood was Okay but the tastes were off. There’s better choices in International District. Read more

Dimsum were good for lunch. Sticky rice w/lobster was the best. I also liked salted egg custard for dessert

If comparing it to Chinatown dim sum restaurants, it was a little bit pricey. The salted egg buns and xiu mai were great while... other dim sum were too ordinary. The environment is good for gatherings and window side seats are highly recommended. Read more

From pork to seafood, from veggies to beef, the chef did not disappoint in a single dish we ordered. Chef Danna took the... traditional Chinese cuisine to a new innovative level. She greeted the patrons at the table, recommended the dishes of the dayand season. Read more
