This place is EVERYTHING!! My ability favorite coffee/pastry shop! Well, I have a thing for Scandinavian foods and... beverages.\n\nLet\'s start with the ambiance, it gives me boho vibes with all the plants and rattan pendant lights, it\'s smalland quaint with a nice view for people watching.\n\nService--The workers are always so friendly and attentive and genuinely seemhappy to be working there.\n\nBeverages/food-JUST GO and Thank me later! Ok..maybe you can\'t thank me later but I wouldrecommend any of the seasonal drinks and their coffee. The Cardamon knot..no wait..the Pear Creme Brulee croissant pastry!! Thatpastry alone is enough to go here. Heck, you can\'t go wrong with any of the bakery items or breakfast food items--good qualityand made from scratch! Read more

First time here! I ordered avocado toast with a fried egg and bacon. If fried egg was not an option, I should?ve been told that.... I got a soft boiled egg, and very burnt bacon. I also ordered a mint tea. The lid leaked the whole walk home. Disappointed. Read more

Cafe Hagen is a great little Scandinavian bakery, with delicious espresso drinks and exceptional sandwiches and pastries alike.... I always try to snag a cardamom bun when they\'re available, and the salmon breakfast bun is always an excellent breakfast. Read more

This Scandinavia inspired coffee roastery and bakery cafe in Queen Anne has an excellent atmosphere, it looks both modern and... cozy. The wooden-look walls and sleek black granite counters are accompanied by lush green house plants and warm overheadlights. The cafe looks exuberant on a sunny day and reassuring when it rains outside.\n\nCafe Hagen roasted beans and makes agood latte, but I\'m here mostly for their croissants. These croissants are lookers. Their layer edges are dense and crispy, inthree main folds that create the diamond shape, one that is not too slender or smooth. A croissant with such a gorgeous look isguaranteed flaky. It smells and tastes good too, I like everything about it except that the texture is a little thicker thanwhat I think is optimal.\n\nI\'ve also tried their other pastries like the Director\'s Snail (Hagen\'s version of chocolatecroissant) and the chocolate rum ball. Both are so heavenly for chocolate lovers like me. Their breakfast sandwich isn\'t a bigone but tastes super fresh and I appreciate that it\'s made to order rather than pre-packaged like many other places.\n\nAlwaysenjoyed my mornings at the pleasantly decorated cafe, and my only wish is for them to have some / more seats. I see that a smalloutdoor patio is coming! Read more
