My partner and I ordered food from this place, to go, last weekend. I quite enjoyed the pork burrito. The meat was not at all... dry and very well seasoned. My partner ordered the potato burrito and I loved it. The potatoes had a texture that was soft onthe inside, yet slightly crunchy on the outside. The salsa was not very good, though. We ended up using our own salsa, whichcomplemented the food, nicely. Other than the salsa, the food was delicious. That being said, we had plans to eat at thisrestaurant (physically) this weekend but just noticed the owner's responses to some of the reviews. Oh my god... I have neverseen a business owner behave this way in response to customer reviews! Based on the owners unprofessional and passive aggressiveresponses, we will not be visiting this place anytime in the near future. (I suspect the owner probably doesn't care, either.For now.) It seems that any kind of criticism is taken personally by the owner and they reply with offensive, passive-aggressiveresponses that only make them come across as pompous and defensive. Based on this alone, I lowered my rating. If anyone mentionsthis place to me, I will tell them to read the owner's responses to the Google reviews and then make their decision of eatingthere based on that. I think it will be enough for people to realize that the owner cares very little for customers. Thoseresponses are not good for business. How can anyone enjoy eating at a place where the owner will only turn on you and blame youif you are not satisfied with something and need to speak with management regarding anything you found unsatisfactory? I don'tthink the owner realizes that their defensive responses only make their business look bad and may end up affecting theirbusiness, negatively... At about just under $20 (excluding tac?x/tip) plus extra for any ad-ons ( meat, quac, eggs, et al.) you might think you should... NOT go to Bujo and order the potato burrito. That would be wrong of you. Smoke a bowl and eat this. It's unlike any otherburrito I've had. Flavors and textures are on point and it comes smothered in queso, which you can also get on the side (idealfor pickup or delivery.) I highly recommend adding an egg or two. I think they scramble them but I don't care and it doesn'tmatter. Everything blends to perfection. The bar is low-key and has a decent vibe and good sevice. Nice little patio out back. Read more
Popped in for apps and drinks! The place was hopping, has a really nice atmosphere. We had the asada fries, creamed corn, and... ceviche. All were really good, so good they were scarfed down before pics! Will be back though and will snap a few then! Read more
We got take out but would love to try eating there because the place seemed to have a great atmosphere. We got a Buho pork... burrito and a potato burrito as well as a half order of asada fries. The burritos were excellent, and the asada fries were verygood. The one let down was the green salsa provided, which was creamy and thick, not spicy, and not well paired with theexcellent, but thick, potatoes in the burrito. We were left wanting a great, spicy, Sonoran-style red or green salsa, or even afresh pico. I look forward to trying any additional salsas they may have available, in person in the future, but based in thisexperience, the salsa was a big letdown. Read more
We've been here twice and my boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised! I didn't know this place was new until I asked our... fabulous waitress, Mic, about the history. It's fairly new and I am just so impressed with how well established the place is forbeing so new!! Food: I absolutely LOVE and ADMIRE the potato burrito!! It takes me back to how my family cooks back home. It'smade with the crispiest potatoes I ever had. Definitely sharable, especially if you want to try other things with a date orfriend. The falafel tacos are my second favorite. I highly suggest savoring the flavor of the tahini sauce they add on to them.Truly delicious! Service: Down to earth people. That's all it should take because it feels genuine and authentic. Suchadmirable personalities, I feel like I'm at a best friend's house, not a restaurant. Definitely the experience Ienjoy. Environment: Awesome décor and clever design work and placement. Check out the wallpaper in the bathroom and sit withit for a moment. I was very captivated by that. The darker theme brings a sense of romance and warmth. Summary: If you arelooking for some creative Mexican inspired dishes with vegetarian options in White Center, this place won't let you down. I seethe beauty and quality in everything here. I added to my favorites and at the top of my list for places to eat out when myboyfriend and I feel indecisive. 5/5 would recommend. Buho, a locally owned mexican bar, has a large list of cocktails, beers and food. The staff here is amazing, super friendly,... very helpful in recommendations and just overall great. They have a few tvs above the bar, and plenty of seating inside. Theirmenu is burritos and tacos with a few extras, but get the burrito covered in queso. They're very large and pretty cheap for whatyou get in terms of size and taste - amazing. Would highly recommend coming here if you're looking for a new burrito/taco placewith some drinks. Read more
