Busy spot! We got there close to the time thay have their live show and had to sit at their outdoor seating, unless you bought... their ticket for the show. The pizza was different, it was a thick/deep pan pizza which we enjoyed. Would I return? Sure Read more

Super impressed with the pizza here! It?s a combination of Detroit and Chicago style. Absolutely love the crispy edges. Will ask... for well baked next time for a more crunchy crust. Be prepared to wait as a whole pizza takes 30+ minutes to make. FYI it?slocated in the back of Clock-Out Lounge. I walked past it the first time looking for it. Small parking lot across the street andplenty of street parking around the block. Read more

My new favorite pizza place. Had their pepperoni pizza and the meatball pizza. My favorite is how the pepperoni curls up on top... and gets a little crispy as well as their crispy cheesy crust so their pizza. The spicy meatball was delicious with a bit ofkick from the peppers. Can?t wait to go again! FYI they require proof of vaccination to eat there! Read more

Wow! Delicious! First time I have had a Chicago Style deep dish. They use a sourdough for the dough here and it was absolutely... amazing, crispy but still soft and light. Unlike Windy City Pizza (sister establishment), they also use Wisconsin Brick cheesewith their mozzarella and I felt it really added to the pizza. I was afraid a Chicago style pizza would be swimming in red sauceand it was not at all, the proportions were perfect. We got the La Famiglia and it was so tasty with the sausage, shrooms, andfresh basil. We will definitely be back! Great pizza! (Also makes great left overs) Read more

Super good pizza! I grew up in New York City and this pizza is very different from thin crust pizzas in the best way. I've never... been to Chicago or Detroit for those pizza styles so I can't speak to those, but I'd be happy to eat here often when looking fora pizza-based meal (also looking forward to visiting those cities in the future for some deep dish style pizza). Their vegan JJpie was amazing - the vegan cheese had a great nutty, parmesan flavor and the sweet hot peppers were delicious. The crust wasdefinitely darker than I'm used to but is similar to darker crusts on sourdough breads where it provides a mouthful ofcaramelized flavor. We also tried the pepperoni slice and a daily special slice. The pepperoni, like the crust, was darker thanI usually see but equally yummy with crisp edges and a pocket of oil (flavor). The daily special slice was a super interestingmix of ingredients for St. Patrick's Day; not an everyday pizza but enjoyed the single slice of it. I look forward to tryingspecial slices in the future as it adds a fun mix to getting the same tomato sauce & cheese pie every time. I'd highlyrecommend trying this place and I know I'll be trying all their other vegan & non-vegan slices! Read more

Breezy Town, the sister pizzeria to Windy City Pie, is down in Columbia City area and inside of a local bar (there's not a lot... of signage saying it's in there and there's not any parking out front). Their pizza is so amazing, caramelizing the crust on allpizzas, thick Chicago style, but great ratio of bread to sauce to sauce to toppings. Easily good enough for 4 people total whichis great, and although it's a little higher than normal, it's because of the size and quality so it's totally worth it. Highlyrecommend going here. Not bad Deep Dish Chicago style pizza. Dropped In Here recently for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. I personally... like the thin New York style pizza, but as far as deep dish goes this is actually pretty good. The edges have a nice cheesycaramelization that makes the pizza what it is. Despite the fact that this is in a lounge Bar, came in here on a Saturdayafternoon and there were several families in here with kids, so it's Pleasant enough inside. The pizzas are thick deep dish, soif you eat two or three slices, you'll feel like you've eaten five or 6 regular slices, it's very filling. They also have acouple of pinball machines and a stage with speakers mirror ball and lights, so I guess they have entertainment in there aswell. I believe during the weekdays they don't open until 4 p.m. but on the weekends they seem to be open all day long. Read more
