First time visiting the restaurant and i love it. Service is excellent, food is delicious and atmosphere is...if you know her... other restaurants it is showing her taste (which i like). Only thing confused me is the steak selection. Too many for someonewho doesn't eat steak (or meat) often and i have hard time choosing one! Read more

Fantastic food and even better service? I took my brother here for his birthday, and they gave us a little card that said happy... birthday. The cuts of steak that are available change everyday. I found the list of available steaks a little overwhelming. Iasked my waiter for an 8 ounce fatty steak and she picked out the perfect steak for me. We also got the croquettes, the beef fatbrioche, and the aligot. Absolutely loved each of those dishes especially the aligot! Will definitely go back. Read more

I was recommended this restaurant by a friend and it did not disappoint! Right away your eyes go to the chalkboard menu which is... equivalent to a “Steak Stock Market” where different cuts of beef are offered until they run out. Such a unique experienceand I opted for the NY Strip which did not disappoint. Top that off with an amazing bottle of French wine and you have one ofthe best wine/steak experiences in Seattle. HIGHLY recommend for an intimate and immersive fine dining experience! Read more

Loved the vibe and helpful service when it came to navigating the extensive steak menu. Nori butter on 182 day dry aged ribeye... might be genius. Only criticism is that judging from the lackluster old fashioned, I’d say the cocktails are probably worthskipping here. Read more

Delicious food, friendly staff and great service. Reservation required. They have a wide variety of options for different steak... cuts, but with limited servings. I would suggest going for an early dinner, to avoid not getting your favourite beef cut, ifthat’s important to you. Yes, it is expensive but it’s worth the food you get here. Only street parking available. As forfood: We ordered Beef Liver Mousse for appetisers. The bread and the dips was delicious - we even got a second serving of thebread because it was really that good. For main course we had, a 9oz 126 day aged prime tip(with bone marrow butter) and a 6oz21 day aged tres mers(with lemon and brown butter), with mashed potatoes and nettles. The Tres mers was delicious with mashedpotatoes. My friend did not enjoy the prime tip as much, more of a 3.5/5 taste. Their cocktails are good and strong. We had anold fashioned and a boulevardier. Both tasted great with the steaks. Read more

I visit Bateau every time I’m in Seattle: it’s that good. I like their unique formula: you pick the cut(s) you like (or you... like to try for the first time) from the extensive list on the the chalkboard. Nice cocktails and great desserts. Sides can be alittle too rich especially considering that the steaks are served with finishing butter. Read more

Unimpressed with the experience given the cost. Forgotten birthday card, overcooked fries, way overcooked steak, and the... portions were very little for price. What I ordered? Ribeye steak medium - expected steak pink throughout with touch of red.The steak came medium well+. Dozen sweet oysters- yummy. :) Bottle of Pinot noir - chef’s kiss. The meal’s savinggrace. Frites - a tad too long in the fryer. Most fries tasted like crisps. Bateau salad - too much cabbage. Ribeye withmarrow butter - marrow butter delicious, steak not so much. Save your money get something cheaper or request rare temperature. The medium came over cooked. The addition of the board where waiters cross off ordered meats is a nice touch. It feels like aregular French bistro, but with prices of an upscale restaurant. I wish I’d eaten a better meal, I’m just left withaftertaste of regret. Read more

Great service. Many options for different beef cut. But they only have limited servings for each cut. If you want to have top of... picks, you'd definitely get there when they open, as the good cuts go very fast. One thing that disappoints me was the amount ofgrease. We ordered a TBone to share. The beef was already perfectly marbled, it seems redundant to offer extra butter on thesteak. The beets salad was soaked in oil and salty. We didn't finish it. Read more
