Reviews for Bar Sur Mer in Seattle, WA
I enjoyed the atmosphere while dining here. Sat at the bar but the staff behind the bar wasn’t as social as I’d hoped. The... food was decent although the portions were REALLY SMALL considering the price for each plate. Afterwards, I was still hungry(didn’t want to spend more for another small bite) and ended up grabbing a burger elsewhere. I’m glad I checked it out but Iwouldn’t dine here again. Maybe to only grab drinks which were pretty good. Read more
Great food, friendly service and I loved the atmosphere and music. Would highly recommend all I ate - Hongos (mushrooms),... octopus, mackerel and basque cheesecake. If you enjoy dry cocktails the langskip was as good choice. Read more
Fron the food to the cocktails to the staff, everything was incredible. Highly recommend!
Looking for something exotic? This is your place, nothing on the menu will be incredibly familiar but it’s guaranteed to be... delicious.\n\nThe yuzu cheese cake is a perfect desert and the wood fire octopus was phenomenal!\n\nThe hobie cat cocktailwasn’t my jam, but it was delicious for the right tastebuds. My heart was stolen by the Queen Anne’s Revenge which was asweet sexy cocktail made with rum, mezcal, and squid ink.\n\nGo wild and crazy with all your friends at Bar Sur Mer, you will beso very glad you stepped out of your comfort zone and tried something truly exquisite. We had a lovely first evening here. Everything was wonderful. The CUTEST decor and every drink and bite was to die for.
Great service and small apps to share. Pricey, but great ambiance. We ordered cocktails, half dozen oysters, mackerel, and... hongos (mushrooms). Not pictured was the almonds that were very tasty. Read more
Newly opened tapas joint with remarkable seafood and cocktail menu and friendly staff
An excellent hole in the wall along 85th in the Greenwood business area. Under the same ownership as Flint and Rock Creek, this... hidden away gem occupies what used to be the extra storage space of the antique store that existed there originally . Amazingfood, phenomenal cocktails, wonderful atmosphere. Watch the chefs work on exotic shared plates as you sit and enjoy some of themost thoughtful cocktails in Seattle. Enjoyed fresh oysters and a gamey yet smooth tartar with a oyster infused acquavitcocktail with dill and lemon notes. Very happy I’m only a short walk away from such a vibrant new addition to theneighborhood. Read more
