While I think a $14 sandwich is on the expensive side. The sandwich I had was super delicious. Bread texture was perfect,... chewy yet crisp. (I don't enjoy bread that sticks to the teeth or cuts up the mouth), the lettuce was still fresh and notrubbery, the meat and cheese quality was on point. Vast selection of beer. Enjoyable. Read more
This is a very nice small neighborhood cafe right next to the National Nordic Museum in Ballard. Great sandwiches and wraps for... lunch. But you must order the jambalaya! Best I've had in years. Thick with lots of chicken, sausage, rice and spices. A veryLouisiana style jambalaya. Definitely a cafe to return to. Read more

Great sandwiches!!!!! This is a place that I would go out of my way to eat here if I?m in the mood for a sandwich, because they... make them right! Customer service is awesome too. I asked for a pickle (mine didn?t come w one for some reason), and the servercame back with a plate of pickles!! So nice!! Good beer, cider, hard kombucha selection too. Read more
I was very impressed that the toddler only sandwich (that's how it's named on the menu!) comes with real normally cuted fruits... not like "fruit salad" from can like in other places with kids menu options. In general the food was great, the quality andtaste of the meals was also good. Will come again if in the area. Great place to visit for lunch after Nordic museum or Ballardlocks, located right between those two. Read more

Waited for my order nearly an hour, watching other orders get sent out that came in after mine, for what I was told would take... 20-25 min only to find they had slathered it with so much horseradish that it was inedible? that?s not mayo in the picture, it?shorseradish, and it was on both sides of the bread. The broccoli cheddar soup at least did not have a glob of horseradish in it,but that?s about all that can be said for it. I?m not sure what?s happened at this place, they used to be good. Read more
