Good coffee, friendly staff and their baker makes the best cinnamon roll I?ve ever had in my life: a flavorful, slightly... stretchy crumb with a thick layer of crunchy caramelized cinnamon and sugar at the base and just the right amount of frosting.Also they gave me a day-old muffin for free today and it was the best muffin I?ve ever had in my life? a day old!!! This is a great little spot to grab breakfast! I got their signature bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. The biscuit is made with... buttermilk and has a thick fluffy texture. The eggs and bacon were made fresh. Probably one of the best Biscuits I've had in avery long time. Just one biscuit filled me up for breakfast. I also got a cinnamon roll. Comparing it to Cinn-a-bon, I wouldsay the winner is Cinn-a-bon. The cinnamon roll was good, but it seemed a bit oily or soggy. It actually tasted better warmedup a day later. Read more
So good! Our group had the bacon + egg + cheddar sandwiches on gluten free bread, the spicy egg panini, and cookies. They were... all delish! Gluten free bread was the best I?ve ever had in a restaurant - perfectly soft. The cafe was clean and has newownership. Really glad we stopped in because it?s beautiful and everyone was so nice. Outdoor seating is great, a drive thru isin the works, and the bathroom was clean. The line will carry down to the sidewalk but it moves fast. The biscuits are wonderful and my favorite is their cinnamon roll with a non-fat latte! And for lunch I love the Ballard Turkey... Sandwich or a Sesame Ginger Chop salad to take home for a late lunch or light dinner! Read more
The biscuit sandwiches here are delicious! They do sell out of biscuits so if you want access to the full menu you?ll have to... come earlier. Still loved the ones we got though- I had the jalapeno cheddar biscuit with the prosciutto filling and it wasgreat! The service was also amazing although there?s no indoor seating at this time. I'm surprised to see people already lining up when I arrived 5 minutes after they open in the morning (at 8am) but the biscuit... sandwich I got convinced me it's worth that little wait. I had the classic sandwich (eggs, bacon, cheese) with cheddar greenonion biscuit, it was delicious and fresh. The biscuit is so fluffy and the portion is decent too. I'm tired of pre-packagedbreakfast items and definitely appreciate the freshly made sandwich. I also had a latte, which tastes good despite a bit lack ofdetails. Overall I think the food is worth a short wait and I might come back again and try another biscuit. Read more
