I love this place, everything is great; the food, the service, and the atmosphere. However, I cannot give it 5 stars because of... principle. They add a 15% fee to the tab and additionally have a tipping section at the end of the receipt. If there's a flatcost for the business, please incorporate this cost to the menu prices; and if you are going to do so, please remove tippingoption altogether. Read more

October 2022 5* I am big fan of hills food and Nepalese food is one of my favorite. This is Nepalese food restaurant and serve... amazing vegetarian foods. They have both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The restaurant has dine in and bar space. Youcan sit on the ground floor or go to basement. I liked the basement area as it is nicely decorated. Here is our food list: -Himalayan Curry with Tofu ***** - Annapurna Curry with mix veg ***** - Garlic naan ***** The food was amazing and species wereperfect. You can choose curry and can decide ingredients. The washroom are located in the basement so it will be challengingfor old people and people with disabilities. Also the parking can be challenge as the place is located on main Street so roadside parking is limited. Read more

I have been planning to go here for a while now and finally tried it. The place looked very nice and was pretty busy. Service... was a bit slow, probably owing to the rush and on 2 occasions it seemed the staff were having some coordination issues. We triedthe tensing momo which was fine. The flavor was pretty close to what u would get in the north Eastern part of India and someparts of Nepal. I also got the soup dumpling which was okay. My wife got the chow chow (something) noodles which was nice, spicyand flavorful. My wife added some extra crushed chilli peppers and it was pretty good. I took the chicken tse nenzom which wasflavorful with tossed veggies . This was not spicy and the flavor was well balanced and served with rice. My friends took theAnnapurna curry which was okay and spinach Momo. They also got garlic naan which stood out for me . The naan was fluffy andtasty. Probably one of the best I have had in Seattle. Incredible. But some dishes are better than others. The Annapurna Curry with Fish is a favorite as well as the Lamb Vindaloo.... And can't forget about the momos. The chicken tikka is on the sweeter end, not like Indian style but it's okay. The saag paneeris also pretty alright but I've had much better. The naan here is just ok. The chai is on the sweeter end but really nice. Read more

I have been coming here for about 8 years off and on. Not sure why I never reviewed this place. The food at this restaurant is... very good and consistent. Service is slow and seems to be a bit impolite for directly telling us that is time to go because theyare closing. I do understand they are closing and we are doing our best to finish our meal but having to gulp down half of aglass of beer wasn't so nice! They also automatically charge a 20% service fee. For 4 of us, the check came out to $165! Seemextremely expensive. Parking is difficult even though it was late evening on a Tuesday night. Besides the tasty food, nothingelse stands out for me this is probably the reason why we only come here once in a while. Read more

We found this gem of a place when we were exiting Capitol Hill station. As we couldn't resist the aroma of Indian food we wanted... to try this place. They didn?t disappoint. Food was so delicious. The staff was really friendly and helpful in recommendingpotion sizes otherwise we would have ended up ordering more than we could eat. Their naan bread was the best we had. Read more

Incredible food. The spices for all the dishes were complex and savory. The naan was fluffy and fresh. Service was top notch.... Can't wait to go back and try something new! Read more

I recently returned to this wonderful place for a meal with my former business partner and my spouse. I hadn't been here since... pre-pandemic because of my work location moving and my partner working from home 100% of the time- it isn't as convenient for usto get to anymore- but I am so sad that I stayed away for so long! The food here is always outstanding, the service stellar, and the space is very cozy. Even in the extreme heat we have been having here in Seattle lately, they manage to keep their belowstreet level space cool and yes, their house cocktails are also delicious! Read more
