Almquist Winery is a gem in the middle of Seattle, WA (Queen Anne neighborhood). We had always planned for an intimate wedding... of 40 people and this venue was absolutely perfect. As soon as I stepped onto the venue property I knew it was the one. Iinstantly knew that I wanted to hold the dinner reception and dancing in the greenhouse. We held our cocktail hour inside therestaurant and had our photo booth setup in the restaurant as well. If you are going to book Almquist for your wedding you mustwork with Table Catering Co. (which is absolutely delicious made by an incredible team). It was an easy choice for us. Yourcommunication for your wedding event is done through Table Catering Co who are extremely responsive. They can take a bit longerduring high wedding season, but this should not be used against them or anyone else for that matter. We did not use the winebarrel room, so I cannot personally comment on that space. We were very lucky with the weather and were able to use the publicgreen space in front of the canal (behind the venue) for our ceremony. Highly recommend for you intimate event. Read more

This is an amazing winery, distillery and beautiful event space. Benedict Almquist is a phenomenal and hard working wine maker... and gifted distiller. I would highly recommend you to stop by check it out. If your have an special celebration coming up, youshould check out the space. We're from California, so we know good wineries and this is right up there with the best. The wine is top notch. The outdoor... seating is nice, the green house is cool. You can just get wine and sit and watch boats go by the Fremont canal on lake Union.They have tastings from $12. Read more
Wonderful experience celebrating my wife's birthday here! Staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. We brought our own... sushi and set up in their greenhouse from around 6 to close, and had an extremely enjoyable time. The wines are reasonablypriced and high quality. Would recommend this venue for any event, or simply a glass after work! Read more
Amazing winery! Great wines and atmosphere! In the summer will be a great hangout outside. Lots of table space. You can taste or... buy by the glass or bottle. They will be getting a chef for a full menu but their small bites they currently service are quitedelicious! Read more
The venue is enchanting and perfect for a small wedding. Unfortunately, venue management is rude, dishonest, and very difficult... to work with. Table Catering Co. has an exclusive catering contract and manages the Almquist venue. As long as Brooke and theTable team are managing Almquist, I would NEVER recommend it. It was clear early on that the venue?s mismanagement was going tobe an issue, but we loved the Almquist Winery so much that we decided to do everything in our power to make it work. We hiredone of Almquist?s ?preferred? wedding planners in the hopes that they would have a positive working relationship. Unfortunately,as time went on our wedding planners repeatedly told us that Table?s administrative practices were ?horrendous? and?unacceptable?. Eventually it got so bad that our planners (their PREFERRED planners) said they ?were severing all futureties?. Table did so many rude and unprofessional things that I can?t name them all and stay in the character limits for thisreview. They didn?t show up for scheduled meetings and tastings. They sent us invoices with an illegal additional 2.2% taxcharge (King County tax rate is 10.25%. They tried to charge us 12.44%). After months of reaching out and working together (andJenny confirming our date), they made us change the date of our wedding because they didn?t want to book a Saturday for lessthan 80 people. After several rounds of invoicing from Jenny, Brooke added an additional $1,200 to our venue costs. Worst ofall, a mere 20 days before our wedding, Brooke refused to honor our executed contract and tacked on an additional $1,000+. Whenwe asked them to honor their written estimates and contracts along the way, their response was, essentially, if you don?t wantto pay the higher price then cancel your wedding because another bride will pay us more.
