Went for the first time with my boyfriend and we bought 4 slices: key lime, choc & scream, banana, and marion berry. Delicious!... My favorite was the key lime. The cashier was also really nice. You get a punch card that you can get a free slice from after awhile too. Just wish they had their slice prices on the website (I only saw whole pie prices :)) Read more

The pie is really good. However, I ordered delivery and one of the pie containers showed up half full. I got a half slice. Maybe... this is the diet gods intervening after I ordered 2 slices of pie for myself. I give the pie 5 stars. These are true kings of pie, made our celebration desert such a delight. But there is a twist: I got some of their frozen savory... pies. Made one today for lunch and it was excellent. I visit Ballard about once a month and this will be added to my list ofdestinations. Read more
Drove 1hr round trip, because no pie places on the Eastside can give you a whole key lime pie same-day apparently. I called... ahead to A la Mode in Ballard, they set one aside, and getting in and out with it was ... a piece of cake. Mind the pie was forsomeone else; I don\'t tend to like them.\n\nThe pie was delicious, both for me and two people who said key lime is theirfavorite. I really want to love this place but disappointing experience ordering for thanksgiving. Website wasn\'t working properly to... order 5 days prior to cut off date. Then they cut off sales 4 days before deadline. Called to and spoke to a girl when seemed tocare less and seemed to be ok with that. \"I don\'t know,\" \"I just do what they tell me,\" \"Don\'t know if we going to haveany (for walk-in),\" \"they don\'t tell me day to day,\" \"you can email the owner.\" (Not my job ?) \"We have slices.\" Havingbeen voted the \"Best pies in Seattle\" since 2011...Thanksgiving would be something could anticipate.
