Found a hair inside the bowl i ordered. It was underneath all the toppings and when i told the employee, she was being rude and... said it wasn't theirs. The hair was light, literally the color of the employee arguing with me. Considering i have dark brownhair, i know it wasn't mine. Had to pay for an entire new bowl because she didn't wanna replace a bowl that had her gross hairin it. Disgusting and won't come back or recommend this location. Read more

I first discovered Playa Bowls in Fort Lauderdale. When I found out it's Jersey owned and operated it just made me even happier.... I was visiting the boardwalk in June and saw the location there! Same delicious menu and if you have the app that works theretoo! Awesome smoothies, not expensive and there are nice little add-ons like bee pollen! Online it says they open at 8am. My boyfriend and I drove all the way to the boardwalk before going to the beach to get some and... they were closed. With no way to reach them. I've seen Playa Bowls expanding around the shore for the past few years, but never stopped to try it until last weekend. While... ice cream, funnel cakes, and boardwalk fries look and smell tempting, they sap my energy on a hot summer day.
