I always travel down I-10 but since the construction I?ve never paid attention to this restaurant/gas station. I went today and... the food was amazing! The entire store was very clean, and the staff was friendly! Delicious food, we got burgers and they were fresh and hot. Service... was fast. The bathrooms were clean as well. Will be returning the next time we are on this stretch of I-10 for sure, highlyrecommended Read more

This is a memorable stop..love the beautiful limestone with metal roof, very upscale building. Restrooms always sparkle..fuel is... usually local average price and pumps are kept nice. Love the interior country decor which reflects a Texas hill country themetopped off by a beautiful Canadian Goose greeting you as you come in the door..very appropriate given this is the edge of thewinter flight path of the northern flocks of migrating geese... Our favorite treat at Kathy's is the beautiful covered pavilionout back on a private lake..where they hold live music, serve crawfish, shrimp or bbq on Saturday nights depending on theseason...you pay for food and drinks..but the entertainment is free to the public...even have a playground for small kids...it'sa wonderful true country way for a family to enjoy a Saturday night out together.....guess you can tell..we really like thisplace. Great gas station right off of i-10. Has a great selection and friendly staff. The fountain drinks and coffee bar are clean and... looked refreshing. The aisles were well stocked and inviting. The high ceiling made the room feel a lot bigger than it actuallywas. The beer seller in the corner looked huge! The bathrooms were clean just like the rest of the establishment. The restaurantis temporarily closed but should open when the highway construction is complete. They have plenty of gas pumps and a nicefacade. A lot less crowded than Buc ees so if you ever want to skip the crowd on your next road trip stop here! Read more
Kathy's Corner has it all. So convenient. Located right off the freeway, and easily accessible. The food is excellent, with a... lot of variety. The menu includes seafood, hamburgers, fried chicken, gumbo, salads and sandwiches. We split the boiled shrimpspecial. It comes with corn and potatoes, with just the right amount of Cajun spice. Big platter, lots of shrimp. It was so-o-ogood and staff are a well oiled machine. The rest room was very clean. There is also a convince store that even carries fullsize Blue Bell ice cream and a gift shop. They also have a selection of wine and of you like to cook your own seafood they canhelp you with that too. Fresh seafood such as crab legs, crab cakes, oysters and fish filets can be purchased. Some weekendevenings there is live music. If you are looking for a campground or somewhere to store your RV or boat Kathy's has that too,just down the road a bit. Read more

This has to be the most well organized, well stocked, and cleanest gas station stops I ever stopped at. It's spotless and it's... looks like a museum in how perfectly it's kept. Good service, food is delicious and it's really a beautiful gas station. Can'tbelieve they out did Buc-ees. Read more
