We came here because of the Mexican twist. I love Mexican and dislike typical American breakfast. Ordered the French toast... because one review said the best they've ever had..... y'all..... this was the best French toast of my life!! Don't bother withthe maple syrup, ask for extra eggnog sauce... TRUST ME! The breakfast potatoes are so incredibly delicious, some of the bestwith their unique seasoning. The smoked salmon Benedict was awesome. Not fishy or dry as many smoked salmons can be. I wouldcome here weekly if I lived here. Next time I fly to LA I'll be back! Incredible hidden gem near the beach. Their French toast is to die for. Great coffee. Amazing, friendly service (I had to check... if I was still in LA county since you never see THAT anymore). Best French Toast I've ever had in my life! They use home made bread and dip it in a Brulee mixture before they fry it. The... Chilaquiles were great and mildly spicy. The Avocado Toast with Poached egg and potatoes was also great. They marinate the thinpotato slices in a green herb mixture that provides nice flavor. Everything here has a homemade touch. Was surprised by this place. Service was prompt and courteous. Food was very good. I got the avocado toast and wife got the eggs... your way. The avo toast was served on HOUSE made bread that was amazing. Flavor profile popped. Topped it was a poached eggsthat was the best I have ever had. I don't get it, but it was so good. Wife got the poached eggs with yummy bacon and "housepotatoes", that were amazing as well. Green in color due to seasoning...flavor...oh my. Going again real soon. Read more
