Let me start by saying how great their mac n cheese is, but at this location it is absolutely garbage. The texture of la rosa... mac n cheese is gooey and cheesey, I go to get this one and it?s like it?s sitting in yellow water. The food would t even stayon the fork that?s how watery it was . Very location I?ve been to has had the same feel to like it was a family , I walk in andit?s just 2 people slouched over the counter.. I mean that probably should?ve been the first sign to just go somewhere else. Thefreehold location and manalapan location are top notch go try those out before putting la rosa as a whole to rest. I usually order later in the day, maybe 6-7pm when they're getting close to closing, and I order online for convenience. Despite... the chicken tasting very good and always cooked well... The sides are always cold. Also I should note that yesterday I orderedmashed potatoes as I've done in the past however they were sour tasting and definitely inedible. I read the reviews for thislocation and say that 4 days ago someone noted that there were eyelashes in her mashed potatoes. The HR manager reached out andassured her that the staff would be spoken to. And I imagine they have been spoken to... But message not received since they areclearly selling spoiled mashed potatoes.... Something I can make at home for $2 in 20 mins...food poisoning is serious and ifyou're job is to prepare and serve food, you are responsible if people become sick due to spoiled or contaminated food. Update: Jeanine from HR was very kind and genuinely cares about the customers. Thank you for reaching out and talking to your... staff. So besides the fact that I had to be refunded through DoorDash due to eyelashes being in the mashed potatoes that Iordered and very dry, greasy, super salty chicken tenders, also had a very horrible experience while picking up an order forsomeone. An extremely rude worker with a very nasty attitude as if she hated her job, barely acknowledged me when I firstwalked in; didn't even say how may I help you, did not want to give me a bigger bag instead gave me 2 small steaming hot bags offood in which I nearly burned my hands. Finally gave me the bag but while I tried to explain that the bags were just very hotand full for me to hold she began to raise her voice and argue that they don't give out big bags for just a few items however 2customers right before me were given bags with handles for less items than I had. She talked over me and rudely yelled good byeover and over again instead of providing professional customer service to help resolve the issue. The worst experience I everhad at restaurant EVER!!! They had everything wrapped up and ready to close before 7:30 and refused to serve me when they close at 8:30. Why would they... prepare to close over an hour before closing and turn away customers? This has happened multiple times. Would not go again. Read more
We have done take out a handful of times the orders are always correct and made promptly. I have also never had anything that I... didn't like. Also my wife said the employees are extremely patient with people that act as if they have never ordered foodbefore. Example a guy was ordering ribs and didn't want a full rack cuz "that is to much" but didn't want a half rack becausethat "wasn't enough". The employee friendly suggest sir why not just get a full rack and have left overs. She said theemployees had the patience of saints when they were probably expecting they were on an episode of punked. Read more
Hidden gem at the Jersey Shore! Very clean facility with caring and professional staff. Delicious menu items with a wide variety... of choices at fair prices. When Boston Market dreams, it does so of this place! Assistant Manager John has fantastic customerservice skills and cares about feedback from patrons while making the experience a good one. Best spot for chicken in the area by far! It is like a Boston market but much better quality food and more options. Very clean... and great service. 100x better then the cluck-u around the corner. If your looking for great chicken ribs at a fair price thisis the place. Read more
Dining in and the sides are cold. Not room temp. Cold. Corn bread is tiny, dry, and completely burned. I used to love this... place in freehold. Not sure if the quality across the board dropped or just this location, but I was real disappointed. Especially when you're paying what you pay for these portions. Read more
