I've been to many zipps but never have had the service I had at this location. I ask for a simple change since guess I wasn't... hear or didn't know of how they make their side salads and the manager came over to "make me happy" and just ended up telling mehe can't do anything so didn't change the situation. Management is horrible at this location. Will probably not come back tothis location I don't hate them all. I've also worked in food and we've never address a situation by just saying we dideverything right sorry your mad oh well. Always love coming to zips with friends for a beer or 2 but the food quality has gone down.. I always oder either the chicken... fingers or the chicken skewers.. last time I went in I ordered chicken fingers and got 4 tiny pieces the size if the chickenskewers which are normally smaller then the chicken fingers.. Great spot in Old Town... especially for a later evening drink & full menu offerings. Our table sat around 1030pm on a Sat.... evening and had really great, friendly service... along with some solid late-night grub including sizable portions oftacos/burgers/wings to share. Also, looking forward to the new outside patio design to be completed soon. Should be prettyawesome! Read more
A nice standard bar with standard bar food. My friend loves their wings. Which they do a damn good job on those. The grilled... chicken sandwich is passable. Lacks seasoning ie: flavor That said, it is a great place covered in TV's to catch your favoriteteams play and have a beer. Read more
They have really great wings - I prefer them to any in town. My husband loves the green chili burger and fries. Good drinks -... the Chambord margaritas are our favorite. Read more
Happy hour is worth it. But they even state in the description of the wings that "crispy" is subjective lol. I wish they would... just make the damn wings crispy. Chewy tendons are not yummy. Or let us request all flats. They just end up being slightlycrisper. Eveytime we go they say oh yeah we can do crispy but they are the same every single time. Save is really goodtho. I am not the type of person to complain at restaurants or write reviews, but this has to be said. I have been going to the Zipps... on Camelback for 20 years, and this is the first time I've had to speak with the manager. I ordered a zipparita like I alwaysdo, and it just tasted funny. When the manager, Justin, came over to check on me, I explained to him that it just tasted weirdand I ordered them all the time. He then says to me "well it's the same batch, so..." I asked if they could make me a new one,and he said again it's the same batch, so it will taste the same. I was with a group with 7 other people, and he made me feellike i was wrong and embarrassed me. So I gave it back and said no, thank you. He could have given me another drink to try andlet me be the judge, but instead, he couldn't do anything for me. I have witnessed this same manager on several occasions beingrude to customers in the past. I have been in the customer service business my whole working life, and this man should not be incustomer service. I will not be returning to this Zipps, which is sad because this has been the spot for my friends and I for 20years. Read more
