Love this place! One of the few places in North Scottsdale where you can get an elegant atmosphere while wearing business... casual attire. I?ve become a regular in the last month after falling in love with their All Saints Martini. I have taken 3separate groups of friends here lately and all agree the atmosphere, craft cocktails, and attentive service are worthy offrequent returns. In particular, Ju-Ju, one of the bartenders, Anthony, one of the managers, and Steven, another manager, havegone above and beyond to make all of my recent experiences at Vic and Ola?s special. Food: Lasagna, meaty and lots of layers. Really enjoyed it. Shrimp capellini, trout sauce is really unique. Definitely have to... like fish for this dish(didn't mean to rhyme)...My wife and I enjoyed this as well. Service: Phenomenal service... we sat inthe bar so we had 6 different people ask if we needed anything. Very fast with drinks and food. Couldn't ask for a moreattentive wait staff. When I walked in, I immediately asked if there was a dress code because everything was set so beautifully. There is not a dress... code, but I did feel severely undressed in my shorts and tank top, despite the fact that the staff treated us equally as kind asthe dressed up guests. As soon as we entered the bar area, we were greeted and welcomed by Steven, the manager. I watched himcontinue to greet every customer that passed the table he was working at. The staff at this restaurant was incredible! I watchedthem mill around the customer area, and from my seat I could see a bit of the kitchen entry as well. They never stopped movingand waiting, and watching customer tables. I didn't catch our server's name as there were a few men with similar features, butthe person I was most impressed was Izzy. I found out when I complimented her to Steven it was only her second day! She kept ourwater glasses full, quickly retrieved lemons at my request, and kept a watchful eye on all the tables around her. Steven hastruly done a great job with this restaurant. Oh! I almost forgot to mention the food. The prettiest salad I have ever seen!Also, the roasted Brussels sprouts were delicious. My mother-in-law also enjoyed her meal, but I forget what she ordered. Steventold us all the wonderful desserts they had (GF tiramisu?!) and they were so hard to pass up, but we had no space left! We had a large group for a birthday dinner on a Saturday night. Wait staff was congenial, but obviously had too many tables to... handle. We waited an hour between the time drinks were ordered until dinner orders were taken. What should have been no morethan a 2-hour meal took over 3 hours! Food was good, but not great... very overpriced for the size of the entrees and the wines(but this IS North Scottsdale). Pasta was fresh, but a bit too heavy for my liking. Salads looked very fresh and were quitelarge. However, many in the group were happy with the spacious open patio, and heaters were plentiful. Unique, upscale decor andupbeat vibe (very crowded). I wish I could give 10 stars!! Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone at Vic & Ola's for hosting our event and helping... make it a success! From the beginning the owner, Sheila, and GM, John, were amazing, very communicative and creative! I hadspecial cubes made for the event and they were open to everything! The Chef created an amazing delicious menu, could not haveselected a better venue!! The food, drinks, atmosphere, amazing staff, and did I mention the food.... everything is great andnever disappoints! Read more
EAT HERE! My husband and I had the pleasure of eating here on the last night of our vacation! For me this was one of the best... dinners I have ever eaten at any restaurant! And I have worked in an Italian restaurant lol ???? I didn?t know what to order andour waiter suggested the Halibut. Well he was spot on! It was amazing! The restaurant was beautiful, the staff was friendly,service was excellent and the food was amazing! My husband had the lasagna and he said it was almost as good as mine which isthe correct answer for a husband to give lol. So the lasagna must have been excellent as well. Read more
It was a nice and breezy evening when we decided to visit the DC market place for a Saturday evening stroll with friends and... family , kids in tow and all. The kids wanted to eat at Grimaldis and we dragged them here. We didn?t know at the time that Vicand Ola?s gets crowded and they need a reservation to seat you. Almost all the patrons were dressed up and it felt like arestraunt where people would like to be seen at.. or seen with. The well lit ambience and polite service staff added to theplace?s mystique. The manager was nice enough to seat us outside in the lawn area - even though we were a walk in - and we were(mostly) not ignored by the waiting staff. The food was well.. all right.. although it is not a place I would take someone forthe food. Maybe for the social atmosphere, but surely not for the food. We had a good time, we felt welcome, but will I go thereagain? Maybe for a business dinner.. but not with my family. Read more
From the moment we walked in, we were impressed. Julio, our waiter, indulged our every question and provided excellent service.... We plan on making a return trip very soon. Highly recommend. Read more
