Tremendous view of the McDowell Mountains. Solid bar service and a welcome addition of happy hour from 3-6 pm. Happy hour has a... variety of tasty small plates. Good, attentive service. This location is an easy walk from nearly anywhere in MMR and a shortdrive from DCR. Owner is originally from Wilmette and Chicagoans understand food and service vastly better than most locals inAZ. We travel between our Chicago and MMR homes and when here, this is a delightful repast. Read more

Excellent menu and service. I only wish I lived closer to enjoy this place more often.

Nice ambiance but a little pricey for the food quality. Staff was great but the chicken sandwich and onion rings were a bit too... greasy and the chicken quality was too tough to chew. More grease/batter on chicken than a good quality chicken. Hard to eat. French dip was ok. The roll was too hard to eat and the fries were cold. No one asked why I did not finish it. Former Twisted Lizard. Like the menu here, and ambiance/decor was very nice. McDowell mountains for your views. The menu has... some interesting level of choices. The pasta dishes are tasty and are well-priced. The half rotisserie chicken is moist and goodvalue. Based upon the Ahi appetizer I would say that the appetizers, while tasting good, where too expensive for the portionsize which seemed small. Overall worthwhile but be selective on what you get. The best tenderloin steak in category; no question. Carrots are wood fired and delicious! Add roasted garlic and you have it.
