What a special place! We are so lucky to have Taza Bistro in our neighborhood. The couple who owns it is absolutely wonderful,... and the place has a very cozy atmosphere. And the food! It was out-of-this-world amazing! I had the Cairo Platter, which wasa fun combination, including Greek salad, falafel, garlic potatoes and pita. Every single thing was absolutely delicious. There are plenty of gluten-free options too, which is nice. In the end, our dinner felt like a special experience, and yet itwas just a regular weekday. My wife and myself have gone several times to ?Taza? for a home made food . Sandra , the owner , is friendly and down to earth... . She makes you fell home .to the point I called the place ? chez Sandra?. We got her flagship plates from ?kufta? to?Salmon? Her Greek salad or her rice bowl are all competing for the first place. Some friends told me about this new place called, Taza, I was in the area from across the Valley and wanted to check it out. I... was thrilled with the menu, I went with the seared salmon which believe it or not, not many can make it right. I went with?to-go? with the hour drive back but I am sitting in a parking lot at Fry?s writing this review because I HAVE FOUND MY FAVORITERESTAURANT! This salmon is PERFECT! So moist and soft, the spices are so amazing, this is quality and talent not found veryoften locally. The cauliflower is amazingly buttery-sweet and next week when I?m in Scottsdale, I?ll be having the same with aglass of wine and yes, the cheesecake! I should have listened. If you?re in search for a true dining experience, includingbreakfast (you have to see the menu!!) do your tastebuds a huge complement and treat yourself and those you care about to anamazing meal that (seriously) is a better deal than the majority of restaurants in the area. Outstanding is the one word I would use to describe our dining experience at Taza Bistro. One of the better restaurant meals we... have ever had and I would give it 10 stars if it were an option. My wife and I were visiting from SoCal for our anniversary anddecided to go Mediterranean one night while we were in Phoenix. Sondra was a gracious hostess and her attention to detailthroughout the meal was superb. The meal was prepared from scratch from homemade recipes and well worth the wait (Europeans willunderstand what I am talking about). We both had the Caesar Salad and the slow cooked Salmon done in a garlic wine sauce(photosenclosed).
