Hey guys my name is Nolan and I?m going to every sushi restaurant in Arizona. Today I?m at Sushi Sen. The vibe and music... walking in was pretty average. Drinks were cold and cheap during happy hour. We got the eel avocado, salmon tempura, chunkyspicy tuna, shrimp tempura and crab mix, dynamite roll, crispy gyoza, spring rolls, and spicy crispy tuna. Really great Japanese food! Highly recommend. Sashimi is very fresh. Katsu Donburi and sushi are also very good.
Tucked away in the shopping center, it took me a minute to find it. First time trying and I was not disappointed. This is the... only place so far that I found that serves soba. The accompanying tempura was nice and fluffy and it all hit the spot. This isthe first place I decided to try their tomago and it had that perfect sweet and dashi flavor. The overall prices are bit higherthan a lot of other places but I taste the difference in quality fo sho. Excellent sushi?served at just the right temperature for texture and taste. The kitchen is FAST, even when the restaurant is... packed. Be aware that the size of the fish slices are about twice as big as at most sushi restaurants. So order less sushi thanyou normally would up front?you can add more later. Read more
