First off, Amera was phenomenal! I stopped in on a Monday afternoon with my wife and ended up staying all evening. We were... immediately greeted and asked about our pallets. My wife and I have a pretty opposite palettes but we were assured they hadsomething for both of us. Amera started us off with the whites. I am a wine sommelier so I take a little different tact intasting. I generally don't care for the sweeter wines but I found a moscato and a sweet reisling both to be quite nice. Neitherwere overly sweet and both allowed the flavor of the fruit to come through and not be over powered by sweetness. Both of thesealso came in right around 13%. It's rare to find a wine we both enjoy but both of these fit the bill. With each wine Ameraexplained what it was, the flavor profile and what the alcohol content was. After the whites we moved on to the reds. I didn'tfind a single one I didn't enjoy. Of particular note, I very much enjoyed the Day Tripper. I generally try to avoid blends withmore than a few grapes involved as it masks the individual characteristics of the grapes but this one really shined. The flavorswere great. It was extremely well blended. Overall the wines here are top notch. So much so I bought a case and joined theirwine club. Even better than the wines were the people. OMG!! I?ve been to tastings in multiple states and countries and have never felt so welcomed as at Salvatore tasting room in... Scottsdale. Amera has a made these tasting welcoming and has such an amazing understanding peoples tastes and how they willenjoy specific Salvatore wines. Read more

This was a beautiful little haven, away from the hustle and bustle that?s just down the street. We ducked in here because there... were empty seats but I was so pleasantly surprised but the vibes and the service. I know nothing about wines so I can?t commentstoo much on the quality, but they tasted delicious to me ????. I honestly felt like I was in Italy (never been so this could bewildly inaccurate) with the breeze helping through the open window and the fountain just outside. DEFINITELY worth a wine flight - cute and quaint! There were 4 of us and we sat in the front window - people watching is... awesome! The bathroom was super clean and the tasting room is decorated with local artwork which is for sale! Although thestyle of wine does not match my pallet - it is still worth a visit! We stumbled upon this place after shopping around Old Town Scottsdale and finding that many tasting rooms were closed. It was... open and welcoming and great decor inside. We were able to grab the sofa beside the front walkway with the open window. This wasthe perfect spot for a deep conversation and people watching.
