Amazing food. Dennis the owner was such a delight. Originally from Czech so he was extremely knowledgeable about that area and... surrounding countries. The bottle of wine with our dinner was an added bonus 5 stars. *** it’s hidden - but back in the samecomplex as Preston’s - just keep right and you’ll get there. Read more

If you are looking for a restaurant that serves great German/Czech style food, you really can't do better than Pravda in... Scottsdale. It's a smallish place with a great menu and very friendly servers. I've tried most of the menu and everything isgreat, but I make a point of getting an extra side of sauerkraut every time. It really is that good. The homemade goulash isanother stand out item on the menu. For me at least, it's the definition of comfort food. In an area of the city surrounded bydozens of steakhouses and Italian restaurants, Pravda really shines as an outstanding and unique option. I can't recommend itenough. Read more
Pravda lives up to its new name and menu. Great romantic setting, friendly owners and staff, and scrumptious food. Having been... all over Europe, and favoring the Czech cities and villages, we’ve frequented the Eurocafe71 and Pravda since we moved to thearea several years ago. We enjoy talking about the “Old Country” and various favorite dishes with Dennis and Kalin. Kalin’s great sense of humor and Dennis’ insight into their menu’s origins in the Czech Republic bring a sense of“home” to Pravda’s kitchen. All their meals over the years have been outstanding, including last night’s schnitzel withpeppercorn sauce. The yummy potato salad is the same as my Hungarian and Polish grandparents made, and the sauerkraut was aperfect side recommendation. When you’re craving true European comfort foods, Pravda’s an outstanding option. We’ll begoing back, taking more of our family and friends to break bread and reminisce about our travels and family roots. Read more
We went there on recommendation from friends and were not disappointed. We both had the weinerschnitzel and it was so tender you... could cut it with a fork! The sauerkraut, potatoes and small salad that accompanied it were also delicious. We shared a tiramisufor dessert which was unique and delicious. Will definitely be coming back. A little hard to find but worth the effort. Read more
