Came for the Pizza, stayed for the pasta dishes. We made reservations to get some Scottsdale pizza but ended up eating pasta... after we looked the menu over. Such a great combination of traditional (classy) Italian food and a laid back, casual Scottsdalevibe. The pasta was some of the best we've ever had. The meatball appetizer was so good we could have eaten two orders. Thecraft Paloma I had was my favorite of the week. Read more

I organized a dinner for 10 at Pizzeria Virtu a few weeks ago. Shelby helped me to make the reservation and was able to answer... all of my questions. She was a fabulous server as well. Everyone had a wonderful time and the food was incredible. Weparticularly enjoyed the Burrata. I would absolutely return for any occasion, and would recommend it to anyone looking to host adinner or just have a calm night out. Read more

This was a last-minute decision tonight with a friend of mine who was craving pizza and pasta. Not wanting to miss a carb beat,... we chose Pizzeria Virtú as it has both on the menu and from past experience will do well and we were only 3 minutes away. Sincewe wanted to try variety of dishes, we decided to share each plate. We started with the polpette, as an appetizer and then aserving of spaghetti, aglio, olio, e peperoncino and the Reggio pizza with no tomato sauce, but definitely spicy. Of course thiswas topped off with the olive oil cake Sadly I only took a couple of photos but rest assured the food is delicious. All of thiswas accompanied by Stefano Farina Barbera d?Asti wine. A perfect pairing in my opinion. Not too bold or overbearing, dry, mediumtannins, great accompaniment to the spices in the foods. Alway recommend Pizzeria Virtú. Can?t go wrong. Read more

Great Food! Subtle flavors that are mesmerizing, as the waitress said, "seems easy enough to do at home but it's hard to... recreate". Tried this place for the first time on a whim (close to closing time) and it was a fantastic choice, definitelybecame my favorite restaurant and I loved it even more with the tasting of each dish. The entire staff was so lovely and veryhelpful and patient 3vwn though they were already cleaning up the restaurant, definitely made us feel very welcome to enjoy ourfood. Read more

We ate at Pizzeria Virtu on an overnight stay in Scottsdale. The two pizzas we tried were fantastic. Highly recommend the spicy... Reggio. Wine selection was good. Insalata was a very nice, classic salad. Read more

Overall good. Pizza was good. Appetizer, Burrata, was okay-good. They have indoor and outdoor seating, very limited wine list... but still enough to order the basics. Service was good but wouldn't expect a sommelier. A bit over priced for what it is, but itis good. Ideal place for an couple that's looking to try a new, quaint pizza place. At one point the music got very loud butotherwise the ambiance is nice. There is a front patio with a fire place that looked cozy for drinks after or before dinner.Parking is on street or right by the building. Probably wouldn't go again but glad I went at least once. Pizzería Virtu is the truth!! Real authentic Italian food in Scottsdale. The meatballs are probably the best I?ve ever had. The... penne arrabbiata was insane! Margherita pizza was delicious. The hospitality was great, Marissa made you feel right at home!!! Read more

For the past 2 weeks I?ve been trying to put into words how incredible my two experiences at Pizzeria Virtù have been. Let me... first off start by saying the food is absolutely spectacular. True Neapolitan pizza is extremely rare to find in the US as itrequires a certificate from a master from Naples. A lot of places advertise that they are and are met with cease and desistletters as it?s that strict to get a license to cook this type of pizza. Pizzeria Virtù exceeds any Neapolitan pizza I?ve hadanywhere in the United States. Their Compania is my favorite cause it?s a simple classic. The Crudo is also spectacular! Iabsolutely do not like mushrooms but let me tell you the Funghi may be one of the best pizzas I?ve ever had. There are about 5more pizzas on the menu that I need to try. There is also an appetizer that you will need to go back and get every time yougo... The Burrata. Sourdough bread drizzled with olive oil, fresh made Burrata that melts in your mouth drizzled in honey andnuts, and thinly sliced prosciutto that literally melts in your mouth like butter. This appetizer is the first thought I haveevery morning and the last thought before I go to bed each night. Not only will the food knock your socks off the service willas well. We were lucky enough to have Marshall both nights we went and let me tell you the guy is a mensch. He is the bestserver I?ve ever had. He remembered us and our orders and even our conversations. He has an excellent understanding of the menuand it?s wine and alcohol pairings and his suggestions are paramount. With so many good options to choose from it was nice tojust go with his recommendations cause he won?t steer you to anywhere but pure bliss. 10/10 couldn?t be happier with PizzeriaVirtù and with Marshall?s service. I can?t wait til I go back! Read more
