Visited for a date night with my husband. He can’t have gluten, so we were excited to find Italian food he could enjoy! The... atmosphere and menu were both impressive. The live plants all over the building and walls were positively gorgeous and trulyadded to the experience. The staff was friendly and very attentive, and the food exceeded our wildest expectations. My motherand grandmother are from Italy so my standards are high, and even I was blown away by the ravioli, the tiramisu, and thelasagna… which were all gluten free. This is easily my favorite gluten free menu in Scottsdale and great Italian food foreveryone, gluten-intolerant or not. Read more

I’m obsessed with this place… what a great place for people with all types of diets! AND their vegan food is ACTUALLY tasty.... They also have tons of meat options, craft cocktails, & a happy hour. A five-star rating cannot even be considered because of the physical environment. The service was inattentive and we were not... consistently offered options: for example, our pizza had to be remade because we were not asked about the crust choices.Ambiance is awkwardly loud; it is filled with peoples’ voices and no music. We found ourselves yelling across the table toattempt conversations and we had to overhear other conversations because everyone had to do the same thing. The chairs areextremely high at the table and uncomfortable to sit in. Even the temperature was hot. I would recommend ordering to go ratherthan dining in. As for the food, it was great. We enjoyed our pizzas, though the gf crust could use a bit of help. The saladwas great, but I’m not sure the lettuce was properly washed. We will order food from here again, though I wish it was a placewe could go to and enjoy. Read more

I am Celiac so I am always hunting for good options. Picasso's more than satisfied my pizza craving. The toppings were roasted... and caramelized to perfection. The cheese bread was AMAZING too. The crust on both was light and fluffy. The soups were a mealin themselves. Put this one on the top of your list. Trust me. I was raised on Chicago pizza :) We finished off with Tiramisu.Fabulous. For a pizza joint, I was pleasantly surprised with the food. Both the regular pizza, as well as the gluten free version had very... good crusts. I had a Thai peanut bowl that was really, really good. Service was good as well, we started outside and as werealized it wasn't a great day to be outside, they moved us inside with no issues. Decor was good, but nothing special. Read more

We always love visiting Picazzo’s for dinner! It is one of the few Italian restaurants that is comprehensively vegan and... vegetarian friendly, beyond the usual options of no-cheese bland dishes, pasta with plain sauce or pesto, etc., or other moreboring options that you may be offered at a typical Italian restaurant. Their vegan menu covers an entire page with many veganand gluten free options, including vegan cheeses, vegan “chicken”, and vegan meatballs. We had the vegan “chicken”entrees. I had the vegan piccata, which was excellent, and my wife had the baked vegan chicken. We split a kale salad, which wasfresh and delicious. We made it early enough to enjoy their happy “healthy” hour this time. Their happy hour includes onlybeer, wine, sangria, and specialty drinks, and a few snacks. Mixed drinks are not included….
