This Canadian-influenced brunch spot is a hidden secret in Scottsdale. Granted, the regulars know about this place, but I fear... the day when all of the East Valley is lined up to have breakfast here. This was our first time. The pancakes, French toast, andBelgian waffle each had a very unique flavor and texture. They were absolutely phenomenal. My daughter loved the crunchiness ofthe outer part of the pancake coupled with the melt-in-your-mouth, soft interior. The eggs were done perfectly, and the baconwas top shelf! The Soul in a Bowl was a surprisingly delicious twist on Canadian poutine; the sauce drizzled over everything inthat bowl was a celebration of flavors. I have never tasted anything that delicious. The customer service was also exceptional.The manager, waiter, and hostess could not have been friendlier. I’m telling you, this is a place you want to take yourfriends and out-of-town guests to for breakfast. The interior was spotless. The decor was very trendy and inviting. Best breakfast in North Scottsdale! I have eaten here half a dozen times in the last few months and it never disappoints. The... staff is friendly and knowledge. The kitchen nails all the breakfast staples (waffles, blueberry griddle cakes that are too diefor!, etc)… But OEB is just getting started with the staples, it rewards greatly those who branch out into the rest of themenu!! Yum! Had the chicken poutine with 1/2 spinach. Poached eggs were perfect. Potatoes were golden brown and delicious. Chicken had... nice flavor. Got the vanilla latte, it was good but basic. I love a place with some traditional items and then a ton of unique dishes to intrigue your palate! This is OEB ... Great... service, cool vibe and a varied menu to keep you coming back! The food was fantastic! Both my husband and I were very satisfied and happy when we were done! My husband got the Chilaquilas... and he loved them! The sauce was really good! I got the Do Not Even Go There crepe… it was amazing! The maple syrup wasdelicious and definitely real! We were actually recently in Vermont and the maple syrup did taste as good as the syrup we gotthere, so I believe them when they say it’s Vermont maple syrup! My husband also got the Breakfast Beermosa and he wassurprised by how much he really liked it! The atmosphere was very nice, not too loud for the morning. Our waiter was veryprofessional and courteous. We will definitely return there for breakfast again! Read more
