Superb setting for a nice brunch! The indoor decor is nice and the outdoor patio is fantastic. The breakfast was nice, huevos... rancheros were very well made. The berries bowl could have been a bit more fresh. The service was great. As you would expectfrom a higher end hotel the prices here are very high, however you will enjoy the experience. Overrated, was shocked at the almost 5 stars. Service was not good despite the restaurant being almost empty on a Monday... morning- they forgot smoked salmon with the smoked salmon bagel, their cream cheese is literally philadelphia cream cheese in apackage lol. Their “sun dried cherries” are craisins. The “coconut oats” tastes like plain oatmeal. Do not come hereexpecting a luxury breakfast. Had breakfast here during our stay at the Phoenician. Food was lovely, decided to eat on the patio rather than inside (it was... hot but there were fans and misters so it want too bad, and was our decision). Came here for lunch on a Friday while waiting for our room at the Phoenician to be ready. We ordered one flatbread as an... appetizer, a burger, a sandwich and two drinks. The food was good, but not mind-blowing, and rather expensive for what you get.I would describe the lunch fare as elevated pub food, which for $20-25/plate I'm not sure if it's worth it. I had food at otherlocal restaurants for the same cost that blew this place out of the water. Additionally the server was very clearly over-satand checked in us very infrequently. She wasn't rude or anything like that but our lunch took well over an hour. We had cups ofwater when we first sat down and then didn't get them refilled until we were halfway through the entrees. It probably took 20minutes between each stage: after ordering for our drinks to show up, then another 20 for the appetizer, and after the appetizerfor the food to show up. Tl;Dr I probably wouldn't recommend this spot for lunch. Dinner might be a better experience but Ithink it's a bit overpriced and the service was underwhelming. Read more

Went for breakfast with my husband. Atmosphere is AMAZING. Very beautiful scenery, especially on a sunny but cool November... morning. We waited about 20 minutes for a table (arriving around 9:45 am without a reservation). We were seated at a five orsix-seat table, which I found strange. But I’m not at all complaining! Haha had a great view overlooking the lush greenlandscape and beautiful flowers. Food … well my husband got the burrito, which was absolutely delicious! I got the breakfastBLT and the citrus was way too overpowering for me (who hates citrus but was trying to be adventurous) and my husband (who LOVEScitrus). Service was decent. Our server was super nice, but kind of slow. Restaurant validates your parking as well, which wasa huge plus! Overall, 4/5 simply because I didn’t like my food and like most things in Scottsdale, it’s a bit overpriced.BUT! I would most definitely say we’ll come back! Read more
