Love the food and the atmosphere but the patio has become nasty - the furniture is filthy with stains all over the cushions, and... the tables don't seem to be cleaned regularly. I love this place for it's community feel (think "Cheers"), but lately the patioservice has been lacking. Read more

I found it by accident and it was a fortunate one! Located in a newer metro living complex we had to drive around it a couple of... times. Parking was easy and after a short walk under a well-shaded area we found Metropolis. Small place with a good lookingbar and an awesome menu. It has a very eclectic menu which gave us many options to please us. I had the honey ginger shrimpplatter with Asian slaw. I liked it but found it too sweet. Shrimps were enormous. Ron had mac'n cheese with meatballs. Itasted his mac and preferred it to my dish. Our friend had the pork bowl and devoured the whole thing! We also shared a capresesalad. I liked it but l was again overwhelmed by its sweetness as it was covered with a balsamic glaze. I still give it a fivestar for their creativity, diversity and service and l will return to try other dishes. Read more
Service is poor, slow, and selection is mediocre. I got food poisoning eating their appetizer. Do not eat here. Owner is rude,... as well as dismissive of the noise level from his bar late at night, despite repeated complaints from nearby neighbors. Read more
