I called the course and spoke to the manager that said he had plenty of space on the course. When I arrived he overbooked and... had to open up the second course that was flooded. When I finished my nine I told him I could not finish the round because itwas flooded so bad and would be fine just paying for the 9 and heading home. He refused and I just dumped my money down thedrain for an incompetent manager. Read more

This review is only for the club's ability to sponsor a company dinner event. I did not partake of any other services. We had a... large room with a built in bar. It was very clean and in excellent repair. Of the 2 bartenders, 1 was really awesome and 1wasn't the most welcoming gut, but he wasn't bad. The drinks were full-sized and not watered. The club provided dinner buffetand it was very good. It was typical buffet fare, but I'm sure we ordered it that way. Chicken, fish, and beef carved right atthe buffet. Fingerling potatoes, spring veggies. Dessert was a large collection of the small bundt cakes made locally-sorry toforget the name. Lots of excellent flavors. Two bites of delicious. The tables were large and good quality-no wobbling, etc. Ithad a nice stage. We had a little issue for a while with the sound from the microphones, but it resolved. Temperature was good. The bathroom was outside of the room down a little sidewalk, but they were clean. No complaints at all. There were enough staffconstantly available that any problems we might have had would have been attended to immediately. We decorated any way we liked, and our whole party had a great time. We liked the venue and will absolutely use them again. Read more

Liked this spot a lot, a good way to get away from the sky high prices but unfortunately they’ve kept their foolish policy... that doesn’t allow walking. Pace here is not fast by any means, nor is the course hilly or otherwise unwalkable, it’s simplyso they can charge you the cart fee. I’d recommend visiting Papago for a better course, better prices, and a better experienceoverall. When I inquired as to whether the ability to walk is seasonal I received a very short and rude response for somereason. It was a perfectly reasonable question. Read more

Unfortunately the course was not in good shape. We played Palm. The front 9 was ok but still water in bunkers, slightly damp... fairways. Back 9 was a whole different story. Every fairway felt damp, Bunkers were unplayable, dry orange bare patcheseverywhere. The water from the water fountains were also not very drinkable. But because it's so hot we had no choice. The twoother courses I played this week had fresh cold or bottled water. Spoke to a single and he's mentioned he stopped going 8 yearsago because their upkeep is just so poor. Way better choices for your money. Especially since they charged 99.00 weekend rate.Camelback a crossed the way for 90.00 and was in 100 times better condition. Read more

Overall good experience, Pro Shop staff were great, course conditions were average. Good not great. Played on a Saturday... afternoon in less than 4 hours as a single. Joining another 2 on back nine. Never waited on a tee box. Decent value for money. Read more

I'm so disappointed in my experience at this course. It was overall terribly manicured. Maybe it was so rough because of the... amount of play it takes. It was essentially a dog track. One I paid over $100 to play and worth maybe half that. It alsoneeds so much modernization. Why are their water hazards in AZ golf. ITS THE DESERT! This course is an example of terribleimpact on the environment. A complete contrast is camelback right down road. Not visiting again. Read more

Good course for a good price. Best part are the views of Camelback mountain. It is wide open with only a handful of risky holes... with water. The greens have a good speed. Adding the slope, it leads to challenging greens. Several holes though were notmaintained that well with water-logged areas or dry spots, which is to be expected. Golf service was good, but food service andgolf cart service was lacking. Read more

Don't play here unless its $40 green fee. Or atleast don't come September , October, November. This course must have a... drought. Just look at the pictures posted by golfers. Fairways are the worst shape I've seen a golf course have. Worst in thewhole pheonix area according to my local friends. I can't believe they are charging 140$ to play here. I think the reviews aregood because locals can pay an annual fee for unlimited golf. There are 55$ courses with easy better maintenance. Read more
