I’m so angry at this place that all the good is overshadowed by the fact that the server didn’t tell us the range of prices... of any of the specials, just said they were all Market Price. Therefore, when all the pastas on the regular menu were $27-$29, Idid not expect that a simple dish of homemade pasta and lamb ragu would cost $52!! The pasta was great, but the sauce was justokay. My husband got the seafood special with homemade squid ink pasta and half a lobster and his was just $4 more. I wasshocked when we got the check. How is this possible? Look at the pictures and see how we got ripped off. Everything isoverpriced, and they hawk their bottled sauce everywhere—so tacky. I will never go back. Read more
Came here for my birthday dinner w/ my son. Again we like trying new places, so we've never been here before. It was nice but... not all that we expected. Fresh pastas are Chef's Kiss...the Squid Ink noodle was dense enough but just soft in the mouth. Thepresentation of the Ahi Carpaccio was less than appealing, but it ended up tasting good...but initially we almost sent back bcit looked like a body part. The Osso Bucco was good, but again I works wish on presentation... tasted good, not pretty to theeye. The seafood pasta was good. Espresso Martinis were on point! Starting from the phone call for reservation, Melanie was so nice at getting our table reserved for our party of 4. When we... arrived our friends were already seated in the patio as we walked in Melanie was there and with a smile she welcome us toMarcellino’s. I then said we have a table for 4 and I told her my name. She then said your party is waiting, follow me. Shetook the time to take us all the way to our table. That is GREAT customer service. Nice ambiance in downtown Scottsdale right by the canal. The food is very good and the service as well, however, I would check... the bill at the end as ours had a wrong item instead of what we ordered. You get some warm bread with red pepper pasta at thebeginning which is very nice . The cocktails are amazing and the food delicious. We tried the lentil soup as well, highlyrecommended, as well as the desserts that came with a small flame for the effect. Read more

Stopped in for a cocktail and appetizers. Alan, the bartender, was very nice, provided a ton of info. We enjoyed the Buffalo... Mozzarella Tomato salad and Mussels. The Mussels could of used a bit more seasoning / robust broth, but good. All the pasta andravioli is homemade, see picture, looked amazing, we didn't stay for dinner but the plate of homemade pasta is enough to makeme go back! Great pasta made fresh on-site. Had to eat at the bar, but the bartender was very knowledgeable. I always love this place.
Exceptional food! We were greeted by one of the owners at the door and she was very welcoming. Our server was knowledgeable and... explained what was in each of the handmade pasta options for the day. It was so nice. All 4 of us got something different andeveryone really enjoyed their meals.
