My daughter and I went to Kona Grill yesterday, Jan.15 for early dinner because we're tired shopping and walking all over the... Fashion Square mall. We've been eating here for a quick bite everytime we shopped but this time, the food was horrible no flavorand over cooked. I ordered the NY steak because I want some protein and veggies, my daughter had a burger because she wants aneasy meal, both came out over cooked and un-seasoned, even I told the waiter I want my steak meduim. It took awhile to get ourfood so we're hungry but I lost my appetite after 1 bite, the waiter only comes once to check on us and told him that the foodWAS NOT GOOD! He said sorry but not satisfied with the apology because he only check on us once and the time we want the bill, money go straight to the trash because we didn't finish our lousy food. I learned my lesson NOT TO GO TO THIS PLACE ANYMORE,VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! Read more

I went here on the suggestion of my parents, who love it, just to be disappointed. My partner and I ordered a California roll... ($10), a crab crunch roll ($15), and a potsticker appetizer ($17). As a sushi lover, I am prepared to fork over a decent chunkof change for a good, handmade sushi roll. These were nothing but disappointing. They were both six pieces, the rice was wet,the fillings tasted completely average, and the crab crunch roll was essentially just a California roll with unagi sauce andpanko on top for an extra $5. The sushi easily should have costed $10-$15 combined at a low-scale sushi restaurant. It wouldhave tasted the same too. The potstickers came out and I thought, “really?” as I saw only six measly chicken potstickerssitting on a plate. They only tasted of mild chicken and wayyyy too much ginger. $17 for six dumplings? Are you kidding me?Frankly, I could have made this whole “meal” at home for 1/3 of the price and 3x better than Kona. Don’t waste your moneyhere if you care about getting good, unique food for a fair price. Edit: I understand this is the corporate office, but mystatements still stand. Y’all suck. Read more

lace has gone WAY downhill. Went there last night for happy hour. Our fault for not requesting a menu, been going here for many... years. We ordered two sushi rolls and a calamari. My wife and daughter got the miso soup. A beer each for my wife and I. What wethought was happy hour items turned out not to be. Nothing happy about this menu anymore. Awful selections. Our bill was almost$70. I about fell out of my chair. Food was mediocre at best and WAY over priced. Been to many many happy hours at Kona with myfam and used to cost us around $40-50 with tip. What a freakin joke. Do not go here for happy hour. You will be disappointed. Read more

I did not hate the place. Actually I've been one time and it was great. My problem is with a driver . Arizona plate number... bzp5350. It was a female in a delivery truck tonight on Vegas Drive AND Rainbow Blvd. She almost ran me down. She was on my ASSbehind me so close I could have almost seen the whites of her eyes. I just tried to inform corporate off but there was no placeto gripe. She almost hit me when I came to a red light. I thought the van was going to run me over. Sheesh. Bad driver. Read more
