This place is such a gem. I was motivated to review after eating at multiple sit down Mexican places in Old town where the food... was just significantly worse than Los Favs. Food is delicious, particularly the burritos, enchilada sauce, and green salsa. I've lived next to this place for a year. Very good overall if you understand this is NOT a cilantro y onion taco place. The... breakfast burritos are arguably the best in the valley, with actual grilled peppers/onion and the egg is perfectly done (i.e.not way overdone like most places). Regular burritos are really good too, tacos are fine. I like the limey green salsa, but thebest is mixing the red and green to make "orange" salsa. Read more
It was my first time stopping in tonight and I will definitely be a regular from now on. I have been searching for delicious... chicken tacos like this since I moved back to Phoenix over a year ago. The place was really clean, the cashier super friendly,and the prices very reasonable. My chicken tacos, and my boyfriend?s beef tacos with beans and rice, were all fantastic!!
