Disappointed in our last experience at this place... my reccomendation is do not get their Shrimp Fajitas. We ordered the... Shrimp Fajitas for two for $35.99 and got chicken and shrimp. When we got our platter it had 6 shrimp on it that were 31-35sized shrimp not the "giant mexican shrimp" as stated on the menu. I asked the server if that was correct and she statedsometimes it is less that it is 5 or 6 shrimp... that is insane! That is a price in the range of $40+ for a pound of shrimp(factoring in food cost and a guess on labor as I was a chef for over 20 years). Never have I been so disappointed at a placewe usually love. It was my first time at this location I was so excited because my friend said it was amazing. I found out other wise. It was... definitely a disappointment ????. My friend had enchillads that were over salty and the green Chile had no appeal rice was dryand hard. I had a chimmchanga with carna asada I has to disassemble my chimmchanga due to the fact it was drenched in greaselike it was dropped in a fryer beans were dry and rice was hard. Sorry to say, but the worst mexican food I've had in a really long time. Ive been there 3 times hoping it was just the meal i... orderd... but every meal is horrible, and very expensive. We've had several really good meals here over the last few years so we were really looking forward to our lunch there recently.... We decided to sit outside since the weather was so nice. The food took a really long time to come out and when it did, 2 of our3 orders were just not great. They were not hot and looked like they had been sitting for a while before we got them. Mydaughter's burger was just so sad and not appealing. Fries looked old. My husband's fajitas did not come out sizzling. It wasroom temperature meat placed over extremely greasy vegetables on a skillet. Unlike my family's meals, my salad was quite good,but I was glad I ordered a cold dish. Our waitress checked on us once, but then I had to track her down to get our bill afterwaiting for way too long. There was one waitress who seemed to be attentive to her tables. She's the one who eventually gave usour bill. She was very friendly and thanked us for coming. Sure wish we had sat in her section! We were so disappointed in allaspects of our meal. Read more

I am torn to write this review because the food is really fantastic but the service has consistently been awful every time we've... dined here. (At least 10 times). Our family always jokes when we go there that it's for the food only because it's good but weknow the service will be bad...slow, hard to get someone's attention, etc. I recently picked up an order for take out and spentabout $75. The order had fried ice cream that they packaged so poorly it literally got all over everything else in the bag andwe weren't able to eat any of it.
