What a nice lunch date with hubby today. First, the front counter lady was SUPER friendly and welcomed us with a 'Mahalo'. ... Very fun attitude. I ordered the aloha plate with Kalua pork (comes with rice and their macaroni salad) and a side salad. ThePORK was really nicely done- yum. I wanted to try the sauces (teriyaki and katsu) but the pork just didn't need it. I did dipjust a bite in each- The teriyaki sauce is served warm in the Katsu sauce is served cold and they were both fantastic. The Katsusauce I would say tastes a little more Hawaiian of course. Hubby had an aloha plate with a barbecue chicken and he reallyenjoyed it. His was served with a bit of rice underneath the chicken and a side salad as part of the meal. while he tried thesauces, he didn't feel the chicken needed any, so that's good! The portions were large, so I was unable to finish my pork, butit will be going home for a dinner sandwich. bonus! I love the fact that they had four different kinds of ice teas, one of themwas unsweet and the rest were flavored options that were sweetened. Service was very quick, we had our food about five minutesafter we ordered it and the place was pretty busy. There was a decent number of people ordering and eating in and quite a lineof folks coming in for takeout orders. The place was really clean as well- hand sanitizer at the door too. It?s a Fast Food Hawaiian BBQ place (but getting your food isn?t fast). The Team Member assisting me was fantastic! Alyssa was... very welcoming, caring, helpful, gave good suggestions and explanations of the different options! Alyssa went above and beyond?5Stars for Alyssa!???????? I should?ve asked what type of meat was in the Island Chicken (it was really thin pieces of veryfatty, dark meat with lots of fat and gristle)!?? Really Gross to me! And the seasoning is extremely HOT! ???? ended up throwingaway most of it?? The Salad was plentiful yet very dry. Alyssa suggested adding some of the Katsu sauce and that helped. So thesalad was pretty good. And the Iced Green Tea has a Tropical flavor and sweetener (wasn?t expecting). So all in all I spentnearly $16 with tax and a tip for mostly a plain salad! ??????? oh well Guess it depends on what you order? this was my firstvisit ever. I probably won?t be back. But I?d say give it a try once and see what you think! Plenty of parking (although toughto get a spot close because there?s so many shops in this busy center). Clean restaurant. Food is even better than before the pandemic! It's like you're on one of the islands and, bonus, the prices are really... reasonable. The service is exceptional and everything is very clean. Highly recommend. We got the family dinner. Three of us ateand plenty leftover for under $50. Read more

Came here for the first time this last weekend and it was perfect! The food tasted super fresh, like made to order fresh. Crispy... chicken katsu that wasn?t oily and macaroni salad that was the right consistency. The inside is on the small side but clean andhas nice Hawaiian music. First time visitor to this fast food establishment. Was truly a great experience. The food was delicious. Made fresh.... Portions were adequate. Not to big. Leftovers for my wife. The Chicken Katsu was crunchy. Yet not dry. The sauce was a greataddition. From the Katsu sauce and the Teriyaki Sauce. The manager was very friendly. Ono is clean and very friendly staff. I ordered the Island Fire Chicken, which I have to say was a tad too spicy and greasy. The... side veggies, rice and salad were delish. The meal was huge. I shared and was stuffed! As I was leaving, I chatted with someonewho was eating the lemon chicken and pork. They said it was delicious and healthy. That's what I'll order next.
