Reviews for Fellow Osteria & Pizzeria in Scottsdale, AZ
Great anniversary dinner. Mixed green salad and spaghetti with meatballs - all split meals. Save room for desert roasted... almond cake. Killer $8 cocktails during happy hour . Great service, reasonably priced, outstanding atmosphere. Read more
If you want to go to a “fine” restaurant. It was just that, fine. The atmosphere, service and drinks were fine. So I... recommend coming for happy hour, but not dinner. The food portions, quality and flavor were lacking, especially for the price. Read more
I was there with the wife and Mother in law. The food was very good. The service was not. We did not get a table touch form the... manager. Our server did his absolute best not to come to the table to tell us that the food would be taking extra time. Theserver actively avoided us. Just let us know it is taking longer than you expected. No management presence what so ever. Iwaited to see if I was still up set. Two months later Two stars. Read more
The food here was actually great. No issues at all on that end. We got the burrata app and a misto salad. They came out long... before the drinks which came separately with 15 minutes between. Our server, Nigel, had a shirt on for the noodle place nextdoor and seemed better suited for that job. He was polite enough and had good recommendations, but seemed overwhelmed with hissection and was not communicating with any tables at all. We probably went 45 minutes between ordering two pizzas and having himcome over to let us know the pizzas were taking longer than expected. In that time we watched him go out of his way to avoid ourtable and taste wine at the bar. We have all worked in the service industry before and are very understanding when restaurantsare understaffed or overwhelmed with customers, but communication can make or break that experience. It was absolutely freezingin the restaurant so by the time the pizza was ready we asked for it to go and ate in the parking lot. The corn pizza washonestly surprisingly good. I would consider coming back for the food alone, but with so many other great choices in the areaand the sub-par experience we will most likely be dining elsewhere. I hope you tip out the cooks well because they really arecarrying the restaurant on their shoulders. Read more
Order them on GrubHub… I being Sicilian should know better and not order from Italian restaurants but I decided to give these... guys a try. My $17 pizza was nice and cold when it arrived I have no clue what Italian restaurant makes pizza with crust thisthick especially if it’s supposed to be authentic. Don’t get me started on the Rice ball things that they call arrancini! They were wonderfully color with a slight freezer burn taste. Definitely not fresh or should they be called arranchini. Verydisappointed. I can hear my Nonna and my Dad now ??????? Read more
Food and drinks both delicious. You gotta try the Squash pizza and the Calamari, Arancini is a pass, very bland and tasteless... but a good crisp on the crust . Happy hour drinks were a steal for the quality. Have been many times, cant wait to come back Read more
Very nice restaurant, great ambiance. The pizza was a bit over done (burnt) but maybe their style as I saw a few come out that... way. Good flavors overall. Calamari was tempura battered and had a yummy sauce with it. The fried rice meatballs were laced wsaffron and not greasy, great texture. Service attendants were great. Tiramisu is a bit too dense but their almond cake wasyummy...had a marzipan flavor. Read more
One of our favorite spots when we are in the area. Excellent craft food and cocktails. With all their options, it’s easy to... break our rule of not eating at the same place more than twice. ???? We went there three times this trip! Not pictured is theBurrata—which is like Thanksgiving in a bowl. You gotta try it. ???? Read more
