Came to Scottsdale for a trip with some friends and we didn’t have much time but wanted to check out old town! We’d heard... good things about El Hefe so we went in and got some margaritas and tacos. These guys thought my buddies ID was fake who is 31 hanging out with other 30 year olds. I understand they take fake IDs... seriously but that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t know how to do their job. To make matters worst they held onto the ID andcalled the cops. We weren’t worried knowing that the ID is real and we are all above the drinking age (duh). They said if theID was real they would let us in and “take care of us,” but once the cops showed up and proved it was real. They wouldn’tlet us in for making them look foolish. Do better. Get a scanner or something if your kid bouncers don’t know how to checkIDs. Read more
