I would like to start by saying, do not be discouraged by the outside appearance of this place. My girlfriend and I like trying... new places and she saw this one advertised. At first, due to no signage or anything to make it stand out, we had trouble findingthe place even when GPS said we had arrived! lol. When we figured out it was the door with a small D to mark it, we sat outsidethinking "this is it"? We almost didn't go in. I AM SO GLAD WE DID!!! We had a couple of their signature cocktails and someappetizers. The food and drinks were amazing!!! I would describe the atmosphere as being both elegant and cool. Our server,Cherylann, was wonderful in answering questions and it was fun to have her tell the story that comes with the name behind thisplace. Apparently they are going to start serving a brunch in the near future on Saturdays , if the food I had last night is anindicator of what I could expect for brunch, I am sooooo coming back to try that out!!! My son and wife and I went on a Tuesday evening and it wasn?t too busy but that?s to be expected. It is tucked away off of... Scottsdale road but we had a fabulous time. The restaurant has a very cool feel to it and Angel our server could not have beenbetter. She had a very comforting and sweet presence about her that we would almost go back just for the service! But the foodwas fabulous (the crispy salmon was great) and I would definitely go back to cocktails were a homerun as well !! My son is amixologist at Bourbon Steak and he was very impressed as well. Enjoyed a delicious happy hour with $5 house cocktails and $5 Appetizers. Buffalo Trace Manhattan along with bacon wrapped... dates, poached pear deliciousness and great service (thank you Angel!) made for a nice start to the evening. We'll be back totry the rest of the menu! Read more
Honestly, nothing special food wise. Cocktails-5stars...Great location and staff is super friendly but the food is just ok.
